This is the best truck driver game I've played. Probably because thier are very few of them. This is better than big Mutha Truckers. This is more like the real trucks and the physics and details such as wipers in the rain and a larger trailer being harder on the engine thus slow to accelerate. The highways(as far as I know) are actual highways, not just made up road maps.(never been to Los Ang, Denver, or so don't know for certain on the Westcoast or Colorado. The incentive to work comes from upgrades for your truck making it go faster(if the coppers don't find ya) and easier hauls to and fro. Also you meet new drivers everytime you complete a load. This game is hard, time consuming, and real fun. Escpecially on difficult level. Thier are three other Hard Truck games and I am going to get them all. Thier is also Hard Truck II.

I bought this for my 12yr old son. He enjoys playing it, and can actually make progress with the trucks.

I may be a little late reviewing this one but I find people's comments very helpful when buying and I like to do my share to help others. This wasn't a bad game for the time it came out, my only complaint was the sleepy eye that kept popping up every eight hours (or was it ten?) and that annoying yawning sound! UGH! Other than that, it was a great game and kept me playing.
