A lost hardcore punk classic!, January 16, 2011

Back in'90 I bought the cassette of Burn This Record. While I enjoyed a lot of the Christian metal bands of the day, I was also glad to find this group. Back in the 80's and early 90's it was kind of rare to find a christian band playing this style of hardcore punk music. What also got my attention of this band was bassist vocalist Nina Lopis. Not only was it an evangelist bunch of musicians doing this style, but a female doing it made it more unique. Of course in the days of Kittie and female fronted death metal bands like Arch Enemy it seems like a so what. Back then it was still rare for me to see a woman playing just commercial hard rock, let a lone a hardcore/skate-thrash punk band. The only other band in a similar vein at the time was the Crucified, and not much else. Also they are as bold with their Christian message as they are musically aggressive and raw. I was blessed with the opportunity to see them in Virginia Beach back in 1990.

hARDCORE cHRISTIAN yA!, January 11, 2011
I Had the Cassette Tape of "Burn This Record" By The Lead in 1990 OR '91 and lost it years back. Been Trying to find this stuff for about 10 years now. than i stumbled on this looking at Amazon.com in 2010. What A Great Find! Complete Collection. This is Some Seriously Thought-ful and Raw Christian Noise, Epecially the Last 15 or so Tracks. A Real Keeper if yur into the things of God. HARDCOREFORJESUS YAAA!
