Man, these boys have provided some killer old-school i-don't-care-for-tomorrow punk-rock-n-roll, but yet it sounds fresh and up-to-date.

Sometimes influences from 80's act can be heared, such as Faster Pussycat ("WILD BOYS"), Motley Crue ("BAG ON YOUR HEAD"). Best song, no doubt, is "MY GOOD REPUTATION", bad-ass old-styled punky rock-n-roll. "WE DONT CELEBRATE SUNDAYS", "SHE'S OFFBEAT", "BLOOD ON ME", "STANDIN ON THE VERGE" is very good also. Summing up, this is sleazy and rocking. Every fan of 80's having-fun-rock'n'roll will dig it. Hardcore Superstar fans will love it. Backyard Babies fans... well, they'll like it too.

I wanna first start my review off by saying, how in the hell are these guys not everyday names in the rock world?? After that being said, Hardcore Superstar released their self-titled record in 2005. This record is what you might call a rebirth for the band after a brief stint into the 70's style glam-rock world of their previous two records. alot of HS fans didn't care for that era of the band, but I actually thought it was quite clever and creative.

Hardcore Superstar's self-titled album has some of their best known work on it. Songs like My Good Reputation, We Don't Celebrate Sunday's, Kick On The Upper Class, Wild Boys and Hateful are all some of the best of the genre, and one would have to wonder, what would happen if these guys were ever exposed to American rock radio. The overall sound of the album reminds me alot of what Guns 'N' Roses would sound like if they were still active today.

I strongly urge anyone who likes late 80's or early 90's styled metal to check these guys out. If you still crank Ratt, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue or Poison I suggest you check these guys out. P.S. if you love good old fashioned rock 'n' roll like I do, I suggest you check out some other Swedish bands like Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx, Distorted Wonderland and Reckless Love.

If you like sleze rock ,or hair mental ,from the 80s like motley crew , you should by this cd.These guys are from europe and are fanstastic ,from kick of the upper class, on bag on head ,we dont celebrate sundays these guys rock ,like old school rock.The gutar riffs are constainly changing like in the wildhearts and in a way , they sort of sound like them to. This cd is well written ,very little bad language , and well played buy this cd and iam sure it wont let you down

A very nice band from Europe, the new Hard Rock Craddle. This is the Cd that made Hardcore Superstar big. If you miss the 80's, get this now

this disc rocks....i have it on constant rotation. i really cant express the greatness of this incredibly talented band...makes life worth living!!! woowho!!!!!
