5.0 out of 5 stars Very good
"Hardest Button To Button" is one of the less prominent songs in the White Stripes catalogue, mostly because it was eclipsed by "Seven Nation Army". "Hardest Button to Button" is a strong single by itself. "St. Ides of March" is a very good song, as is expected from any White Stripes b-side. The video of "Hardest Button to Button" is not spectacular, but a nice add-on...

2.0 out of 5 stars Confused
I was a little disappointed in this item because I was unaware that I was not purchaing the complete album. Instead I got a CD that had only two songs on it.

Another good group of singles. Nothing too new here for the masses but if you're collecting the library this is a must have. The cover of "March" is excellent and the "Button" video is good though it received scant airplay when held up against "Seven Nation Army."

Certainly worth buying if you're a die-hard White Stripes fan. If not, just buy the album "Elephant", and the even better new album "Get Behind Me Satan".

4.0 out of 5 stars Hardest Button To Button, December 30, 2003

Definately wasn't one of my favorite White Stripes songs until I bought this single. Hardest Button To Button is a simple, but very catchy song from the Elephant album with a lot of power behind it. The single includes the song itself (of course), St. Ides of March, and The Hardest Button To Button music video. St. Ides of March is originally a semi-blues/rock number with good ol' lyrics conjured by Ben Walker and Ben Swank and I think Jack and Meg White do an excellent job at covering it. The video is very brilliantly done as well, you have to see it to beleive it. All in all, not a bad single.
