This review is from: Hardline: Live at the Gods Festival 2002 (DVD)
This is a very rare out of print DVD for must have hardline fans!
Performance was filmed at the Gods festival in Bradford, England in june 2002.
Hardline came out to headline the all-day rock festival (featuring Other bands such as Jeff Scott Soto and Harem Scarem) at 1am in the morning and they were very tired, though Johnny Gioeli is sweating like mad throughout the entire show we still see him running around the stage and he totally gets the tired crowd going during songs like "Takin' Me Down" and Rhythm From A Red Car. They were suffering from mic problems throughout the show, an angry Johnny storms off the stage during Face The Night to talk to the tech guys about it off stage, but then he comes back in. The audience is very nice and they applaud during every song and they understand that the band were very tired.
Bobby Rock's drum solo is one of my favorites from the DVD and the live version of Dr Love is cool. This is a must have for Hardline fans everywhere, this DVD came out of print since 2007. e
