This chandelier is a great piece for our dining room which has a standard height ceiling. We have glass door at one end of our dining room and this chandelier doesn't obstruct the view as much as some others would have. I thought I wanted a chandelier with down lights but this gives more than enough light. It was easy enough to install also. The box was crushed a little at one end when it was delivered but the packaging was so good the chandelier was not damaged at all.
