"SHHHHHH" is installment #16 in the latest reincarnation of the Hardy Boys, a staple of adventure detective fiction for seveal generations of American grade school boys. The Hardy Boys are now available in this series of graphic novels, featuring exciting art works and new storylines.As the story opens, brothers Frank and Joe are stuck helping their Aunt Trudy with a boring yard sale. However, when American Teens Against Crime (ATAC) notifies them of a new assignment, the boys have an out. Their job is to guard the three children of a visiting diplomat, present in the US to sign an important treaty. The boys take the children to the library as a way of hiding out. Unfortunately, the bad guys track them down in the stacks, and a deadly chase ensues. The story becomes even more complicated when the Hardy Boys have to hide their covert status from an inquisitive Aunt Trudy. "SHHHHHH" manages to turn a library into a place of danger and excitement. It is highly recommended to fans of the Hardy Boys graphic novels. |
