"Chaos At 30,000 Feet" is the 19th entry in the Hardy Boys graphic novel series. Based on the original detective adventures books for boys by Franklin Dixon, this latest reincarnation of the Hardy Boys features dramatic artwork and new storylines.
As the story opens, Frank and Joe are role-playing the Wright Brothers for an aviation exhibit, while a high school classmate does Amelia Earhart, famous female flier. An unfortunate accident causes her to assume her role for real. Meanwhile, the Hardy Boys are pulled away for their latest assignment with ATAC (American Teenagers Against Crime), this time to investigate a flying school with a string of suspicious accidents.
Frank and Joe don't even make it to the flying school before being nearly machine-gunned by a mysterious biplane. Once at the school, they find lots of suspects for the recent mayhem, and end up with a hostage crisis in mid-air.
"Chaos At 30,000 Feet" is an entertaining read with a nice twist involving a famous flier. It is highly recommended to fans of the Hardy Boys graphic novels.
