"Deadly Strategy" is installment #20 in the new Hardy Boys graphic novel series. The Hardy Boys adventure detective stories, originally written by Franklin W. Dixon, have been a favorite of several generations of American grade school boys.
In their tenure with ATAC (American Teenagers Against Crime), brothers Frank and Joe Hardy have made lots of enemies. When the two boys get framed for a jewelry heist and other crimes associated with past cases, the question is which of their past opponents is behind it, and how far are they willing to go to ruin the Hardy Boys? The trail of clues will lead to several former opponents, and a few old friends, en route to a show down at ATAC headquaters. "Deadly Strategy" is the last graphic novel in this particular series, as author Scott Lobdell moves on to other projects. It is highly recommended to fans of the series, who need not fear an end to the fun. A new series with a different format and new stories is on the way. |
