About the Brand
Haribo, founded in 1920 in Bonn, Germany by Hans Riegel, is one of the most prominent manufacturers of sweets (namely fruit gums, licorice, and foam) in the world. The company name is an acronym for "Hans Riegel, Bonn" and stands as a reminder of Haribo's continuing loyalty to early traditions. After Hans Riegel died during World War II, his son, also named Hans Riegel, took over the factory and expanded its operations, taking over many local confectionery manufacturers in countries all over the world. Currently, Haribo operates five factories in Germany and 13 throughout the rest of Europe. The company also has sales offices in almost every country in Europe as well as in the Unites States. Haribo's German catch phrase is "Haribo macht kinder froh / und Erwachsene ebenso," which translates as "Kids and grown-ups love it so / the happy world of Haribo."

These fish pack a real flavor punch!
We've been on a Haribo taste testing tour here in my house for the last few months. The bears, frogs (big and small), cherries were first and all gobbled up with much pleasure. So I ordered these a couple weeks ago in hopes of another hit, was not disappointed!
If you are tired of the same ol gummy and like a little zing in your candy you will really enjoy this 5 pound bag of colorful fish. We ordered these from Amazon when they were having a sale, they arrived within 3 days with the Super Saver Shipping.

Best price anywhere! If you buy this candy at the mall, you're going to pay over $10 a pound. I got 5 pounds for $14. Unbelievable! Shipping was free which was an added bonus.

These are sweet and flavorful -- while a bit expensive -- and are possibly the best gummi candy I've ever eaten. A huge favorite with adults and kids alike -- don't miss out and order now!

Wouldn't buy again.
These smell like plastic. They don't have very much flavor and are also very hard in texture. I wouldn't buy them again.

Not as good as Haribo Gummi Bears
My kids love Haribo Gummi Bears so I ordered these when they are on sale. They are good, but we prefer the gummi bears better, as these are sweeter and stickier.
