5.0 out of 5 stars the best music
First of all I would just like to say that Mase's music is the "BOMB." I almost listen to it everyday. Anyone who doesn't have has to get it. But he really needs to get his s##t going in his music videos they are all the same. The only good ones are the ones with Puffy in them. Don't get me wrong I LOVE his music he just needs a little help.

3.0 out of 5 stars the truth
im thought i was a mase fan, but this album only gets 2 stars (i clicked 3 by mistake). why? he has good and/or popular artists also in songs such as; puff daddy, lil kim, dmx, eightball&mlg, jay-z, 112, and more. the songs 'lookin' at me' and 'what you want' were hits, and 'feel so good' has to be one of the best party rap songs ever made. however, besides those songs,...

2.0 out of 5 stars WEAK!, April 29, 2000

When I ordered the EDITED VERSION of HARLEM WORLD, I was excited to hear it. It was a good and appealing for the first week, and that was it.I don't listen to that cd much anymore because MASE couldn't rap well, the beats are so so, and the guest stars aren't that good. Also, if you compare the dirty version and the clean, there is a track missing off of the clean.

1.0 out of 5 stars Mase let me down, April 23, 2000
This review is from: Harlem World (Audio CD)
I got this album as a gift, and I was excited because I had already heard "feelin so good" and "lookin at me" When I put it on, I couldn't stand any song on there for more than a minute. I only like three songs on there, the two above and "what you want", and then that's only because Total drowns him out. I also noticed how conceited he is, like most rappers are. Then he throws in pointless interludes. And finishes his album with a PITIFUL attempt, trying to sing a slow song. There are lots of guests: Busta, Dmx, Puffy (of course), Lil' Kim, ect. Someone needs to tell Mase that collaborating with lots of artists DOES NOT guarantee success.

Mase is one of my favourite rappers of all time. I was happy that he was attempting a comeback a few years ago, too bad it didn't work out. That means I have to settle for old material but that's ok, cause Harlem World is a classic in my opinion. After more than a decade after it's release I'm still listening to Mr. Betha.

3.0 out of 5 stars MASE THE HARLEM BAD BOY, December 16, 1998
By A Customer

MASON has a great voice for rapping but his lyrics are really not to to different through out the album. Puffy hooks the beats but the album does not strike big. this does not belong on the rap charts, maybe the dance charts.

5.0 out of 5 stars The albums cool, November 21, 1998
This review is from: Harlem World (Audio CD)
The Harlem World album is cool. I love the Feel So Good song, and I'd have to say there isn't a single song on the album that I don't like. My absolute favorite songs are: "24 Hours To Live", "What You Want", "Cheat On You", "I Need To Be", "Jealous Guys (Because the song is funny... not to diss Puff and Mase, but them singing really is.. funny... he he)", "Wanna Act", "Wanna Hurt Mase?" and "Feel So Good". Maybe one small downfall is the fact that he only has one solo song on the album, but still, having a lot of other artists on the album is cool too. I definately recommend it to anyone.

Chill. I'm out.

Ma$e is rising to tha top! He kicks some major booty compared to Puffy. Even though he raps slow, he still got style wit it, and that's what makes him da sh*t! He knows what he wants, and he's getting it. I guess our west*side knows what it's all 'bout.
