"This book was published in 84.I really enjoyed this book because the heroine was dedicated to her life and career. After the hero told her how he felt about her, she still make it clear to him that she was not willing to give up her career and she enjoyed her solitude. The hero accepted the heroine's terms. I just wish there were about 50 more pages to truly do some justice to this story."
"I give this book 3 stars. This book was published in 1980. Unlike some of Lamb's other books during this period, the hero does not slap the heroine. This book featured a bit of jelousy from both the hero and heroine."
"This book rated about 3 1/2 stars. It is one of Lamb's 80's romance. The herione marries a man who loves her more than she loves him. You may/maynot like: 1.Forced seduction 2.Hero is controlling and a bit jealous. 3. Hero uses brute strength against heroine."
"This book was written in the early 80s or late 70s. Things you may or may not like: 1.This book is sooooo not PC. 2. Heroine slapped twice by hero. 3. Hero uses forced seduction that would be considered rape in todays world. 4.Hero uses brute strength on heroine. 5. Heroine came from a very abusive home."
"This book is sort of dry. It's only a three star book at best. There wasn't a lot of interaction between the hero and the herione throughtout the book. The hero is also the cousin of the heroine's former husband."
"I. I gave it 4 stars. The hero, Nick, is a banker and the heroine, Sara is an artist. Sara, lives with her stepbrother who the Nick mistakes for her lover. The heroine does not want to get involves with any man so she uses her the hero's ignorance to her advantage. Nick is determined to have her even if he thinks Sara and her brother are sexual deviants."
"A very good Charlotte Lamb book. Herione runs away to England to escape controling stepfather and the attentions of Ben Wintours. She runs into Ben's trap. this book has forced seduction and kidnapping. I give it four stars."
"This book is a tad bit dry. The herione, Deborah runs off to Italy in an attempt to recover from a broken heart. Instead she meets Mathew Tyrell who throws her emotions into a tallspin. I give this book 3.5 stars."
