This book is so detailed it is a bit intimidating for the novice to read and react to. Everything on the bike is covered and shown how to remove, replace or maintain. The difficulty level is rated on each activity and there is a showing and listing of the tools required to do the job. It is a must if you are a motorcycle mechanic or a beginner getting started on the intricacies of the Harley-Davidson Sportster models of motorcycles.

It doesn't even show a clear picture of how to do a basic oil change. I am not very satisfied with this manual, especially for the price.

I have many haynes auto manuals...over 25. I work on many different makes and models in home garage. This was my first motorcycle manual for my personal bike. Well worth the money. Now I know exactly what types of fluids and exact amounts. My used bike didnt come with owners manual. This book is better in every detail. Plus it has a hard cover. Buy it!!
