The Harman Kardon Signature 3.0 DVD player, with its extensive audio and video capabilities, is in step with today's digital revolution. Component-video outputs (RGB or Y/Pr/Pb), 10-bit video digital audio converters, 96kHz/24-bit audio capability, Dolby Digital/DTS processing, and HDCD decoding offer outstanding playback of your favorite DVD/CDs. All video decoding and processing is physically separated from audio circuitry to minimize video artifacts.

The internal flash memory is upgradeable for future hardware, software, and format enhancements. It also stores your preferences for thousands of discs, enabling you to program any disc, specific surround modes, aspect ratios, and audio tracks. The Velvet Glide drive assembly ensures quality playback. The mechanism incorporates aluminum strengthening rods on both sides of the disc platter that provide added stabilization and minimize vibration.

Convenient features include a two-line front panel display, advanced programming/playback functions, and your choice of RS-232 and RS-485 control ports, which allow you to incorporate the player into virtually any entertainment system. A backlit remote control is included.

The one-year warranty covers parts and labor.

I agree with the first reviewer.. This DVD thing is a Fad [chuckle]. Got my DVD player early on, hooked it up through the SVHS port on my TV and connected my Dolby Pro Logic (ahh.. the old days) Receiver to it. It was awesome then (first reviewer obviously hooked his up wrong) and it is crazy awesome now with DTS/Dolby Digital via Optical Digital Inputs and Component Video. Nothing touches it!!

VHS, what's VHS? Is that like 8Track or something?

there is no dvd like the signature 3.0,one of best high end component.
