This DVD is really the best way to learn this instrument simply because you can see & hear how it's done.
To try and describe how to play such an instrument in words alone would be lengthy & confusing.
The harmonica is not a piano, simply hitting a key does not mean a good/nice sound will come out of the instrument.
Wanna play da (most popular) Blues, by reading? Fuggetaboutit! Ya gotta see & hear how it's done!!
It's all about technique...and lots-o-practice, of course.
Tim patiently & carefully explains the instrument(s) and how to gradually build your skills & confidence.
The DVD (in the extras) also showcases Tim's harmonica skills so you can see/hear his expertise & set your own goals.
If you're looking for a place/way to start learning to play the harmonica, this is it.
Highly recommended.

At least for me, this one have been an excelent product to begin learning how to play the harmonica.
Even having not too much time to practice, think this one may help a lot for the begginers... maybe just begginers.

If you are just learning to play this is the DVD for you. Nice easy style.

This is very good harmonica instruction to the basics of playing. I've watched the DVD several times and it is very understandable. I like it alot.

I am in the process of learning to play the harmonica and this DVD is a great tool to have.

instructor does a good job teaching. you will learn from this dvd if you are a beginner. i just wish there were more songs on it though...

Of several harmomnica books and guides this is the easiest and most helpful and effective one I've found. It is a good starter but isn't just for beginners. Even more experienced harpsters will enjoy and learn from this.

OK for a minimal of the very basics, cd works ok with the lessons. Minimal blues lessons, and just when you get interested David Hart goes off on a wailing original blues song with no musical notation and expects you to keep up and or figure it out. Yea right, not good insruction.
