Practicing my combat roll in the pool, I used a cheap lanyard so I could put it around my neck. That really is the only reason this nose plug gets 4 stars. The helmet strap is awesome(for when the actual kayaking trips come around) but it just seems like there would be a way to enable lengthening or to move that little metal thing so it could fit around your neck. Otherwise it is a great nose plug, does what its supposed to, comfortable, and better than the ones you get at a sporting goods store.
