Reading this Book is an Acquaintance with Babaji...,
This review is from: I am Harmony, A Book About Babaji: Second Edition (Paperback)
Reading about Babaji is a good way to begin to meet Him. His energy will automatically flow to the reader creating a very personal interpretation and meeting with this Energy of The Immortal Yogi which is everywhere at all times, and is non-different from the reality of your own being. Babaji would sometimes say that the best way to know Him was to watch your breath, to breathe with awareness, He is your own Breath, your own life force. An All pervasive Ocean of Love, Knowledge, and Limitless Power. But coming a bit back to Earth, for those who have no idea who Babaji is or How to Meet Him, with these simple yet "esoteric" instructions of losing the "self" to find the Supreme Self underneath the Breath... Then this book is a great way to start... This book describes a manifestation of Babaji disguised as a "normal" saint or Yogi of India, who appeared to the villagers of Haidakhan out of a ball of light around the year of 1800 to then later disappear again into a ball of light around the year 1922 with promises of one day returning. He then returned again in the young form of a Yogi around 1970, which is the form that Radhe Shyam (the author) met Him in and we see an image of on the Cover of this Book. There are disputations as to whether this Haidakhan Babaji was the "real" Babaji or the same Mahavatar Babaji that is mentioned in Paramahamsa Yogananda's Autobiography of A Yogi. To the writer of this review they are indeed one and the same. To those who are in disputation as to who is the real Babaji, well everyone is, all that is and is not, is that same Yogi. Where is it that the Supreme Self cannot be found? Where is division other than the product of a Divided Mind? As before mentioned, reading about Babaji is no different then meeting Him, it is an amazing vehicle for His Blessings to enter your life and can change everything for the better. This is more than just reading really, since one of the main practices of the Aspiring Yogi is Guru Yoga, or concentration on the Guru, to receive one's own connection and Teachings from that Infinite force, by reading about the Guru, the mind is directed towards the Guru, and is thus a form of Meditation on the Guru Sri Babaji. As stated in Paramahamsa Yogananda's book Autobiography of a Yogi anyone anywhere who says Babaji with reverence immediately receives the Blessings of Babaji. It is hard then to even comprehend the benefit of reading His name and Stories thus focusing the mind on Babaji for Hours of Blessings! Comprehensive Account of Babaji 1970-1984,
By Madhuri (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I am Harmony, A Book About Babaji: Second Edition (Paperback)
This is a well researched and thorough account of Haidakhan Babaji's appearance from 1970-1984. Radhe Shyam quotes many sources to guide the reader through an understanding of what occured in India at that time, and how Babaji affected the lives of millions. This is not a fanciful account of "inner visions," but a factual account of real people in real time. Included are many photographs as well as translations from texts otherwise available only in Hindi. Also included are Babaji's teachings on how to live a life that is both spiritual and practical.

Babaji has had many lives and all accounts are fascinating. He is God incarnate and has come many times to help humanity. The single mistake about this book is that it is so detail specific that it makes the book overlong. Otherwise it is a fascinating insite into communal living Truthfully, Simply and in Love.

My Bible,
By Rob Rideout "HARI OM" (Colville,WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I am Harmony, A Book About Babaji: Second Edition (Paperback)
I have been a devotee of Babaji since reading His name in Yogananda's autobiography back in 1971. However, after reading this book, I wrote the author Radhe Shyam a letter, stating that it was my Bible; that was the impact that his book had on me! Shyam also wrote me back a sweet letter, that I even treasure more today since he has passed away. We were in complete agreement as to Who Babaji Is. Shyam's book is a must read for anyone trying to figure this out. Babaji is no body and no thing. He is definetly beyond human comprehension. One out of a million souls even believes in Him. I wrote about my experiences with Babaji in my inspirational memoir, Still Singing, Somehow- an odyssey of one soul's karma. Babaji is far beyond words, but "I Am Harmony" will give you a well documented view into what is known about this Mahavatar. Om Namaha Shivaya
