Great chair!,
By Tiffany (Las Vegas, NV United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Harmony High Chair - Colby (Baby Product)
I actually have the Winnie the Pooh pattern, but it is still a really great chair. I have never had another, so I don't have too much to compare it to except reviews I have read on this site on other chairs. I have a 9 month old daughter and she seems to like it just fine. The one handed release for the tray is great, as well as the removable top layer in the tray. I didn't get the play bar ( I actually bought mine at Walmart) but I am sure that would be really great for your kid. The snack tray area under the main food tray is nice too. I LOVE the 5 strap harnes. And the great thing about it is that it can just be a lap belt if you (or your baby) prefers. It makes me so nervous when we go out to eat and they only have those dinky high chairs with the weak straps. I love that the height is adjustable so she can eat at the table with us too, and for the height difference between my husband and myself. The seat being made of plastic is great for clean up, the only problem is that my girl tends to get hot and sweaty in it, especially if she is only wearing her diaper. The little bar on the back is nice too. The assembly was pretty easy, I did it all by myself. I would enthusiasticly recommend this high chair

Didn't Work For Us,
By Kiera's Mom (Houston, Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Harmony High Chair - Colby (Baby Product)
I purchased this high chair for two reasons; first the pattern is pretty and matches our infant seat and stroller, and second the description claims that the chair is designed so that the tray will fit over your table. Unfortunatly the tray does not fit over our table although it is of average height (30 inches). In addition, the seat back did not adjust easily and sometimes it would not adjust at all. One very nice aspect to this high chair is the infant booster seat which works quite well. In the end we had to return this high chair due to the lack of fit with our table and the amount of space the legs took up.

good, the best one availible,

I knew that I wanted (and needed) many of the newer features availble on highchairs, but not ALL the extras. I have twins, B/G and we own two of these Colby Chairs (they come in many colors, colby was our favorite) and have had them since the twins were about 4 months old, that was 5 months ago!
PROS-> * The chair is VERY easy to clean, its all plastic and vinyl, there arent too many mystery crevises for those rouge cheerios and strained carrots, and it only takes me about 5-10 minutes to clean one whole chair (my friends aquarium takes her about 45 minutes a day, for one!!!) * The tray is big, it can hold a good sized plate (although we dont use plates too much). The trays size is also nice to prevent food from ending up on the floor, and to keep some food away from baby, to eat only a little bit at a time. Its pretty lightweight so I dont strain my arm taking it off, yes ARM, I can take it off wiht one hand, unlike MANY of the other "one handed-release trays". Its easy to clean, even without the dishwasher insert (we dont use that too much, just a wipe or a sponge, but the inserts nice on occasions). The cup holder is useful, and it keeps the drinks away when you want baby to eat. * The chair reqlines all the way for bottle feeding, and it sits ALL THE WAY UP for baby when they are eating, this is greatly appreciated to disencourage slouching and uncomfort. * The chair adjusts to all different heights, I cant imagine it not fitting at the top of someones table, we keep the twins close to make feeding easier... * The wheels actually move, they dont get stuck and they are easy to lock, and unlock with your feet. * The harness is a 5-pt. this keeps the babies safe and secure, but you could use it as a lap belt if you wanted as well. * The seat is very comfortable, its nice to be able to know that the twins wont be fidgeting through-out the whole meal. CONS-> * Its a little tough to take the twins out, and put into, the seats, but thats no big deal for us, but it could be. * The chair is very warm, the twins always seem a little stuck to it or sweaty, especially when they are only in diapers, but that again is not a terrible problem for us. * Its a little on the big side, so if you have a small kitchen it may not be ideal THINGS WE COULD LIVE WITHOUT-> * Price * The toy bar is entriging for the twins, they love it and its not in the way * The basket is great for bibsters and utensils * The chair can fold over for minimal space saving, but its not too compact. * There is a little snack tray under the big tray, for snacks! Easy to clean and to maintain So we are still waiting for the chair with all the positives listed above, but without the unessasary things and the negitaves. But out of other chairs I have used at friends and families, the harmony highchair is very reliable and secure. I am not worried about saftey and the twins are always fine at the table. We all love this chair and recomend it for anyone with a baby.

A great chair, I absolutly love it!,

Let me first say I own TWO of these chairs, so they really arent that large! My 6 month old twin sons LOVE them... ***WE HAVE IT IN CENTRAL PARK***
They are so easy to reqline (4 angles!), all you need to do is squeeze a bar at the back of the chair. A good reqline is important since our sons are light sleepers and we need to just let them sleep when they finally do! Theres a few hieght adjustments to have them eating at the table, I dont want them eating off in a corner! Theres a beautiful cover, which is easy to take off, wash, or just wipe up even though its NOT vinyl, and is very comfortable! Theres a five-point harness so my sons stay put with or without the tray. It can also become a 3-point if you and/or your child prefers. The large tray is easy to take off one-handed, and very easy to wipe up. Its large enough to keep food away from them if its at the edge, and also curved so less food ends up on the floor. The insert trays are also like plates, they stay on and they easily snap into the dishwasher, and my sons have yet to discover how to flip them off. The snack tray is also wonderful, its under the actual tray, and is just right for snacks or for when the big tray is being washed! The wheels dont act up, they lock when I need them to, but when they are off we can easily roll it around the kitchen or to our deck outside. Theres a handle on the back, which acts as our bib holder because the bottom basket ALWAYS falls off, and now just stays in the pantry. Its large enough to hold my sons, but when they get even bigger it wont be a problem. The seat folds easily and compactly into our corner... Just so easy to do! The toys are intriguing and are kitchen utenzils, not much "fun", but we werent planning on making this an all day chair, just a place for the twins to eat! There arent any nooks, crannies, cracks, or levers for food to get crusted onto, so dont you worry about it! I love this chair due to its easy to use features, and excellent quality... It has all the extras without the unneeded complications. We all just couldnt be happier!

GREAT HIGHCHAIR,

Love this product!! This chair is awesome. I especially love the reclining seat, and this chair is VERY sturdy. ...We researched and tested several and are EXTREMELY pleased with this one. The tray liner is cool too, and our 2 month old loves to sit and stretch in his "Recliner". He loves seeing things from a different height too!!

Poor customer service,
This review is from: Harmony High Chair - Colby (Baby Product)
No to mention the recline feature on my high chair is next to impossible to work, my seat pad fell apart after a few washings. This highchair was only a month old. When I contacted graco they so kindly told me that a new seat cover can be purchased for $35!!!!
Very dissappointed.

Not the best that it could be....,

This review is from: Harmony High Chair - Colby (Baby Product)
Being a new mom (b/g twins), I wanted nothing but the best for my babies. We chose the Graco Colby and Graco Harmony highchairs. Loved the idea of being able to recline the seats. We have purchased a lot a products (double everything!) from Graco; by far I do not think these highchairs are worth the price that Graco is asking for them. The "one-handed" recline seat is more like two or three handed!! The wheels don't roll all that well, it's more like dragging the highchair across the floor!! The tray does not go close enough to the babies either. I have been pleased with everything else from Graco. I think they need to go back to the design studio and reengineer all of the "one-handed" features. If I had it to do all over again I would purchase two Fisher-Price highchairs instead of these two from Graco!! One good feature is the 3 or 5 point harness system (the release button is the only one-handed feature that actually works).

Works well for infants,
By
This review is from: Harmony High Chair - Colby (Baby Product)
I like this highchair for my daughter. She can sit easily in it, since it has an infant booster seat. I also like that you can choose to use either the 3 or 5 point harness. The reclining feature is not good though and I never assembled the toy bar. I figured I didn't need that. Overall, I love that it is on wheels, the height adjustment is good and the infant booster is wonderful. Decent seat.

Great chair for me and baby,
By
This review is from: Harmony High Chair - Colby (Baby Product)
This is a great chair. We originally bought a booster seat because we thought that would be more practical for long-time use, but our baby wouldn't stay in it very long. It just wasn't comfortable.
After visiting my great-aunt who had a graco highchair and my baby loving it, I decided we needed to get a highchair. After much research, I decided on this one (although mine is the mocha pattern}. Here are features I love about this highchair ): Basket: I love the basket under the chair. I use this to store washclothes so I can quickly clean my baby's hands and face. Bar: There is a bar on the back of the chair on which I hang bibs if they are not dirty after use. Toy Bar: My baby loves the pan and spoon that come with it--he plays with them all over the house (they are detachable). He also loves to play with the toys on the bar. It is just another distraction for him so I can make it through my own meal without interruption. Tray cover: There is a tray cover you can take off and wash in the dishwasher. There is only one, and I could see how you might want more than one so you can wash one while still using it. So that is something to consider. But there is still a tray on under the tray cover, so you could just wipe it off with a washcloth if you needed to use it while the other one was being washed. Height adjustment: Just like it. Recline: It has many recline positions, which would be nice for younger babies. We got this at 6 months, and my baby could sit alone at 5 months, so we didn't use the recline on this chair, but you would with a younger baby. Pulls up to a table: This feature makes the benefit of a booster seat over a highchair non-existent. After we bought this chair, my baby would sit in his chair longer, so he got more food in him. He started sleeping through the night the next day. It is possible it was a coincidence, but I suspect the fact that he got more food thoughout the day eliminated the need/desire for a nighttime feeding. That was two months ago, and he has slept through the night ever since. Overall, I have no complaints. The only thing I would change is adding more tray covers. Happy shopping! I hope this helped.

Good but not terrific,
By
This review is from: Harmony High Chair - Colby (Baby Product)
When I registered for this product I was SO excited about all the features and for the most part it has lived up to expectations. My only real complaint is that the recline mechanism is a little choppy and you have to really pull hard to get it to work. Other than that I'm fairly pleased.
