I bought this kids seat because it said 0- to 6 years. There is no way it could be for a 6 year old!!! More like birth to 3 years 4 at the most! But its an ok looking chair just really small!!! I would only sugest getting this for a child 4 or under.

We pulled this out of the box already assembled and our 14 month old daughter immediately sat down and started rocking! She was thrilled with it and we are too. I wouldn't recommend for bigger kids but it looks like it will work from ages 1-3 or so. Definitely worth $50. Will be buying another one I'm sure. We did buy scotchgard to make it somewhat toddler proof and I would recommend that everyone do so to make the microsuede last. We've had to do this with our couch because our daughter always has something sticky on her. :)

Bought this chair for my granddaughter for her 1st birthday. It is well constructed and sturdy. Also she has room to grow. She loves the chair and gets her books and sits in the chair when she wants someone to read to her. I would highly recommend this chair

****Update: We've added the rockers to the chair, and they mounted fine. They are plastic, but despite the constant abuse of a 36", 30 pound little girl they've held up with no issues. She still loves the chair, and we couldn't be happier.****

My little girl is eighteen months, but off the charts tall for her age. She's gotten to the point where she wants to sit in chairs just like grown ups, but all the kid's chairs we've been able to find have been just a hair too high for her to back up and sit down in. This chair is absolutely perfect, the seat is higher at the front (about a PlayStation 3 game box's height) and slopes back to an overstuffed plush comfy chair that looks just like our couch. She tried climbing up onto it before sitting down, just like she does on the big people chairs, but it only took one lean forward to realize she can back up to this one just like the grown ups do.

We're holding off on adding the rockers until she's just a little bit taller, but when we get home from errands or the sitter's, the first place she runs is right to her chair. My buddy's four year old fits in it fine, too, but like other reviews have said the six year old would have to be a petite child to sit in this chair comfortably.

Great product, no complaints about the shipping or packaging. The rockers are plastic, but look sturdy enough. They were not mounted to the chair when it arrived, but that's okay because we're waiting to install them until she is older.

I have a 17 month old daughter and she loves this chair! The only thing I would suggest is to hold off adding the rocking chair pieces until your kid is older. We didn't put it on after we saw her climbing on it from the sides.

The chair is well built and really nice in appearance. Great price and great chair.

I ordered this chair for my 18 month little girl and she loves it. I NEVER post reviews, but we were so happy with this chair, I wanted to let others know how great it is! The rocking pieces come separate and you have to put them on. We left them off and just set the chair flat on the floor. Our little girl is pretty rowdy and we were afraid to put the rockers on just yet. The material is nice and wipes off easily with a wet cloth. The chair comes wrapped in plastic, as soon as I unwrapped it, my little girl jumped right in and it fit her perfectly. She likes to climb all over it and it has never tipped. I would definitely recommend this chair.

I bought this chair for my nephew. He loved it! It was hardly placed on the living room floor and his little 12 month self was already trying to sit on it!! Good quality. Arrived on time. Great Buy!

This chair is very small, which works well for my almost 2 year old, but because it is on rockers this makes it pretty unstable for her. The rockers make it more suitable for a slightly older child but by that time the child will have outgrown the chair. It is easy enough to leave the rockers off, but as I mentioned, the chair is already low to the ground. Taking the rockers off means it is only 7" tall from floor to top of seat cushion. The build quality seems to be good, except the rockers are a fairly cheap plastic. Overall it isn't a bad chair, I only caution that it won't be much good for children over 4-5 years old as they will have outgrown it. If the smaller size doesn't bother you than it is a quality chair. I realize this chair is supposed to be small as it is a children's chair; however, we have another children's chair that we purchased elsewhere that is a good 3" taller and will last much longer so this is what I'm comparing it too.

My 20 month old daughter loves this chair. She loves to sit in it and have her own spot to relax. We did not put on the rocker legs, and never had the intention of it being a rocker. The microfiber is easy to clean and the color was true to the picture in the description. It has tons of room for her, and my very slim sister-in-law (5'1", 100#) fit in it too. I can see this being a part of our living room furniture for years to come. In summary, having seen the prices out there for chairs in this size range, this is probably the best deal around. It is comfortable and has an adequately padded seating area. Only two small complaints, and they may be super nit-picky: The back base of the rocker is not flat across the bottom. In the center it extends down an inch or two (probably a stopper for the rocker so it doesn't go too far backwards?), but it can wobble a little if she's climbing on the chair. It has never tipped, mind you, and no, she shouldn't be climbing on it, but that's just the reality of a toddler. Overall, the chair is well-padded in the areas where the child sits, and is similarly padded to my adult furniture. In an ideal world (or in a more expensive chair) I would like to see a little more padding around the base and sides, as you know how toddlers can trip and fall into things.

As advertised. My 2yr old loves the chair. some said its too small but its not. Shes a tall 2 yr old and i could see her sitting in this chair for at least 2 yrs
