I have had this product about a month now and, to say the least, it's good leather, but the buckle design could be a bit more efficient. The leather is already starting to crack along the top of the hole that I use, the leather naturaly creases at this point from the way the buckle is designed. I expect this belt to wear out (a weak point to form above the hole such that it creates a tear) in about a few more months of continued, constant use. It WOULD have been nice if the holes were lined with some sort of metal to reinforce the buckle, but it's metal on leather, which can be expected to fail.

IMO don't waist your money if you will use this belt constantly. A TRUE leather belt will stand up to the task of wear and tear for a year or even a little more. I bought one from J.C.Penny that has lasted me over a year of constant, hard use. Belts are something you should buy from someplace where you can physically examine it and imagine what the holes and buckle will look like in a year of constant use. I kind of wasted my money on this one, though it will hold up my pants for a total of what...three months? *laughs* NOT recommended.

The belt is beautiful. It is exactly what we were looking for. This belt is 100% leather. Remember the old saying " A Poor Man Can't Buy Cheap". This wonderful belt is worth more than every penny spent on it. If you buy one. Enjoy it.. :)
