I ordered this honey dispenser after searching for a honey pot (which are very scarce and when found, very small) We have used it for about 2 weeks and we really love it. Refilling is a bit tricky (2 people needed) but we only have to fill it up once a week so no problems. I thought the bottom container would get all sticky, but the contraption works so well, the honey doesn't even drip in there!

I used this for only a short period before giving up and buying a different dispenser. This dispenses the honey incredibly slowly and is cheaply made. I recommend avoiding dispensers that dispense from the bottom of the jar. The second dispenser I bought is terrific. I thought this product was a sure solution to my honey needs. However, it is made poorly and the honey dizzles out slowly (took forever to get a teaspoon-full for my cup of tea).

It is also quite the feat to fill the thing...trust me. Oh, and you MUST remember to change the water in the bottom of the holder OFTEN...or it will get moldy!

I'm in search of a new honey solution....

I was excited to find this, until I tried to actually use it. I bought it with the intent of using it for honey (we have a bee hive). The honey was too thick to come out the very small opening. It might work fine for maple syrup. The desing was nice, except for the 'metal' looking thing is actually a plastic. I don't know how long it would hold up. I promptly returned ours.

This thing is made soooo cheaply. I owned one of these for years, however the plunger mechanism used to be made much stronger. You can feel the weakness of the arm and especially the button to press its release each time you use it. Being from the northeast we use maple syrup a lot...couple gallons a year. I just wish I could find something more reliable and convenient than the big ol' jug it comes in.

This product is a great hostess gift. You put the honey in the dispenser and you then put warm water in the little plate under it and and it makes the honey come out without dripping all over the place. It is easy to pour. It sits nicely in the plate.

I love the gadget. The honey is always at the bottom ready to pour and there's no mess from honey drips! Great product. I even bought more for gifts.

Work great. No drips and sticky fingers; honey dispenses for my tea quickly. I make several cups of tea a day and was really tired of the inevitable drip on the counter or stickiness.

As long as you use runny honey or syrup, this dispenser works great. When filling, all you have to do is plug the hole with your finger -- very easy. Honey stays nicely inside container, flows well and does not drip at all!

I searched for this type of honey container quite a bit, this was the only one I found. I'm very happy with purchase: works great, looks pretty good on counter top/table and most of all: no mess!

I am very disappointed with this product. It simply does not work and is very messy. I have tried several different ways of using it and nothing seems to keep the honey in. The stopper keeps detaching from the stem and so the item is not well made at all.
