4.0 out of 5 stars good vibrations
Mix together the oevre of Cheech and Chong, the wit of The Big Lebowski, the hipness of Dazed and Confused, the sweetness of Sixteen Candles, the scatology of American Pie and There's Something About Mary, a shofar, some kimchi and a shake of curry powder and you get this fun film. And this soundtrack lets you relive the buddy-sense and sheer fun of the film experience...

4.0 out of 5 stars good vibrations, August 13, 2004

And this soundtrack lets you relive the buddy-sense and sheer fun of the film experience. Sadly, there is no Left of Zed; and the liner notes are sparse. I had hoped the liner notes would explain the score selections, but they only list the cut titles. Best among the cuts are (14) Ridin, by Classic & 86, with a great beat and electric organ that evokes the pot infused film with rap sensibilities; (2) One Good Spliff, by Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers puts you in the relaxing, good vibration, inspired mood needed for an evening of decompression; (11) Mary Jane, by the late Rick James (I'm in love with Mary Jane... takes me to paradise...); (8) Crazy On You, by Heart; (4) Righteous Dub by the Long Beach Dub Allstars is infused with the slow reggae beat and triangles (the only love that's righteous is the love of jah); and the reason for buying the CD - Wilson Phillips, "Hold On" from the car CD player scene.

4.0 out of 5 stars Songs in the movie, but not on the OST, January 25, 2005
This review is from: Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (Audio CD)
This is both an answer to the question about the song that plays at the end and also an FYI for all songs not on the OST. The song that plays during the presentation of the food is "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss and performed by David Kitay. You can find all the songs in the movie at the IMDB website.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Song Is "Rock to the rhythm", January 20, 2008
This review is from: Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (Audio CD)
the song is "Rock to the Rhythm" performed by lexicon although it is an alternate version written for the film by Gideon Black, Nicholas Black, Jason Rabinowitz for use in the movie. It is much different and starts at the chorus in the film the original song/ remiz or whatever you want to call it appears on Lexicon's Album title "Youth is Yours"

4.0 out of 5 stars The song yourt looking for, January 8, 2005
This review is from: Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (Audio CD)
The movie was good and I knew i knew the song from something. Although im not sure where to find the original the remix is called "Rock Remix (feat. Celph Titled, Big Oak, Nick Fury, Ryu & J-Zone)" on a cd called "blame it on the hooch" by Louis Logic. He's also with the demi-godz and anything you find from Louis Logic or the demi-godz should be bought. go to sandbox.pair.com to order

4.0 out of 5 stars A great soundtrack for a great movie, August 8, 2004
By
This review is from: Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (Audio CD)
This soundtrack is really an excellent representation of the movie. It's funny, and it has almost all the right songs. Sadly, it didn't have "Let's Get Retarted" by the Black Eyed Peas... which I really enjoy. Oh well, an otherwise good soundtrack.
