Excellent sound quality and song selection, Carey is at his best here. A lot of heavy harp playing, his voice is very strong also. He has a great way of putting his songs together. His writing skills are second to none, he must have a natural talent for this. Over the years he just keeps writing good quality stuff, it seems a lot of writers lose this talent in time. Not a bad song on this one, very strong.

A soaring performance by one of the great harp masters. The sound quality on the sacd layer is amazingly clear and enveloping. The backup band is tight and compliments Mr. Bell's performance. This is a great disc for blues lovers or anyone that appreciates great music.
