i have read this book 5 times and now know everything about harriet tubman possible all i can say is this captivating story catches you're attention from the first page and keep's it untill the last. the first time i read this book i couldn,t put it down! you're are mixed into harriet's feelings and can feel her determatiion and strength.

Harriet Tubman's life is inspirational. The events told here bring a vivid picture to the mind of the reader. It helps us in understanding how hard the life of the slave was and how precious was "freedom". A real eye-opener.

This book was a fast read, perfect for a research paper on Harriet Tubman. The story of Harriet Tubman's life is written in an easy-to-understand and relatable format, with helpful doses of firsthand quotes, pictures, and documentations. It has wonderful details on her trips, supporters, and family, and is overall a great source.
