I had initially purchased a Harris 13.5" - 27 " Hinged base bipod which works great for sitting and steep down hill shots but far too tall for making shots laying prone. Th1s bipod is the perfect size for me and there is less movement with the solid base which makes long shots beyond 200 yards much easier. The installation takes only a few minutes and secured to the existing sling stud on the rifle easily and solidly.
The bipod was delivered FAST and in good condition. GREAT price too! Highly recommended.

I have owned many Harris bipods in my life, this one was no different than the rest, just a fantastic item.
In my past few purchases, I have experimented with the different models Harris offers (Swivel, Notched Legs, Straight Legs), and this one is probably my least favorite. I do not like the smooth leg design. Technically you have the most flexibility with the straight legs, as you can adjust them to the exact height you want them to be. But practically, they take longer to setup, and mine have, at times, retracted from recoil on the rifle. Again, this is my personal preference, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. For me, I'd rather have the Notched Legs, your milage may vary. But other than that, I still think this is a solid bipod, I just prefer the other models.

Not bad i had one made by UTG and thought it was too cheaply made. ($20) I put this on my heavy barrled bushmaster. it countured to the hand guard great and installed fast. I took it out to the desert and after about 60 rounds it was comming loose. some green locktight fixed that. At the end of the day when i tryed to colapse the legs there was sand in them preventing the boutton from being pressed in. had to blow it out but it didn't seem to be as smooth.

Makes long range shots from the bench easy with this nice solid bipod. For a rock steady shot I like it much better than the rotating Versapod that I replaced with this.

This was the first Harris bipod I purchased. I bought it for my Rem mod 700 Varmint rifle in .308. I wanted to provide a stable rest for bench or lying prone without having to carry sand bags everywhere. This worked out perfectly. Not quite as stable as double sandbags or vise, but for portability, it the best. I managed to get groups down to nickel size at 100 yards. It's quick to attach and set up, folds down quickly and has infinite adjustments. I also bought an LM model with notches on the leg extensions and installed it on my Mini-14. It's a toss up as to which is best, more a personal choice. I would buy either with confidence. Harris has several models for different rifle styles. I was told to buy Harris and it was excellent advice.

I own several Harris Engineering items. They just don't get any better. Always fit and work as advertised.
