I make this in muffin tins, I keep the original package and I store the muffins in it. I freeze them and as I need them, I pull one out and thaw it in room temp or pop it in the microwave for 20 seconds. my African Grey and Cockatiels love them. I use Sunshine Factor (sold on amazon) as the oil in the recipe. super easy to make

My budgie LOVES bread. It is, seriously, his favorite food in the world. Unfortunately, I noticed he began developing some respiratory issues (wheezing and tail bobbing) anytime I gave him bread as a treat. So... bread was off the menu and the respiratory issues went away. Due to contamination problems and recalls with other brands, I decided to give Harrison's a try and noticed they had this bread mix. Figured maybe I should give it a shot. It is fantastic! My budgie loves it. He's so happy to have bread back in his life, I'm happy that he's getting a treat with a little nutrition in it, and he has had no wheezing or breathing issues. I'm a convert! Great stuff!

My two baby quakers loved this bread. It was easy to make. I did not have the special oil it called for, so I just used organic olive oil. It came out fine apparently as it was always gobbled up. It seemed to freeze well also.

Great product. My bird loves it. I can hide her vitamins in this and make sure she gets them. I am trying different ways to make product - applesauce for the liquid, will try ripe bananas. You make up a big batch, then freeze half of them. They only take 45 seconds or less to thaw and warm up - ready for snacking. And they don't taste bad for human slaves, either.

My two budgies split a mini muffin of Harrison's Bird Bread every day. They've been extremely stubborn about pellets, but they love the bread. If I want to have a tiny parrot riot on my hands all I have to do is skip their mini muffin. They're that into it (and spoiled).

It's been a great way to get them used to the taste of pellets, especially with millet and flax seeds in the mix to entice them. It's easy to add extra millet or other seeds to a bit of the bread for birds who are hesitant to try new foods. The texture is great too because it's fun to rip apart. Mini muffins are easy to freeze and then thaw a few at a time. I highly recommend giving this a try!

My Quaker loves this stuff. I make it with Sunshine Factor instead of oil, and bake it in a muffin tin. Pop the muffins out, wrap each in plastic, and freeze. I get one out of the freezer at a time and put it in Tupperware in the fridge where I can pinch off a piece when I want to. My guy doesn't like the corn (go figure since he likes frozen corn and fresh corn) in the original blend so I always get this. Sometimes I add my own stuff like cooked rice or beans if I'm feeling creative.

Great healthy treat. Change of texture and form. Every once in a while I get my flock this. I think it helps to bake it in muffin form as to not waste it. I divide it into halves so I don't keep it more than a week. Put them into the microwave for 15-20s. They really look forward to breakfast.

My bird really likes this. I like knowing that I am giving him a healthy treat. I make it into muffins. I freeze some muffins and they last a few months. Very easy to make.
