The purchase of this book provided an essential link in the study of glass---Northwood Glass in particular. The pictures are wonderful and the information helps one retain and understand how the glass industry has evolved through the last 150 years. I would recommend the companion books: Harry Northwood: The Early Years 1881-1900 and Dugan/Diamond: The Story of Indiana,Pennsylvania glass. Together these three books will provide a good understanding of part of the EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS era.
