It was difficult to put the batteries in. Would have loved for the wand to have an on / off switch. The wand goes off at the slightest touch. Have had the wand for a few weeks now and the kids are still playing with them.

Very dissapointing to receive this item - not of good quality for the price. I had to give it to the child though b/c it was part of a gift and the gift was already overdue.

This is pretty much a single use "wand". It is very poor quality. The paint chips off at the slightest touch. Also the batteries were very hard to install, and believe me, I know how to install batteries. If you are thinking of buying a harry potter wand, try something other than the deluxe.
