This Griffindor scarf is great. The length is right, the colors are bright and right on! The knit is tight and soft. The Griffindor emblem is just the right size and looks "official!" My 10 year old daughter loves it and loves to wear it around the house. It will be a nice addition to her winter wardrobe. What I like is that it is Harry Potter memorabelia that is appropriate to wear anywhere. For the price it is a worthwhile purchase.

I was at first sceptical about buying this scarf because you really don't know what you're getting. But its beautifully made, looks just like the scarfs worn by the Griffindor House students! It's made of wool, fine detail, especially the house crest; it's warm, and so can be worn throughout the winter. I bought it for Halloween and have to say that it added a special touch to my costume; got lots of compliments considering I went to the Halloween Parade in the Village in NY, and there were lots of Griffindor students. So if you're thinking about buying a griffindor scarf, this one is the one to get. Oh and I ordered it three days before Halloween & received it promptly; well packaged. Great Amazon service.

I just ordered two of these for my kids for Halloween to go with their Gryffindor robes a friend is making. I procrastinated, as usual, and had to pay through the nose for shipping (and as a WA resident, nearly 10% sales tax), so I was thrilled when they arrived today, on time, and are really generously sized, thick, warm scarves made from 100% lambs wool. My kids will get lots of use out of these this winter, not just for Halloween, so I don't feel like too much of a dolt for spending the money. Hooray!

i don't know why this is listed as a toy. It's actually a pretty nice scarf. It's long, long enough to drag the floor on a child like in the movies. I'm an adult and I bought it because I couldn't find a scarf in those colors ( plus, I do love Harry Potter ). It's wool, it's long, it keeps my neck warm - I'm happy with it.

I was looking for a Gryddindor and Slytherin scarf as a gift for a while. Many are overpriced and even more are poor quality. This scarf is a good median price and is proper quality. This is not a flimsy costume scarf like so many other imitations. It's warm, soft, and the crest is well-crafted and sewn in (rather than cheaply printed atop).

I will start this by saying good things. Right away you'll notice that this one definitely is much much better than the other one that is out there (which is more or less colored fabric on one side) and its made of good material making it warm like you would expect.

This one is a licensed Harry Potter merchandise on the other hand.. why can they not get the colors right? Gryffindor is yellow and a maroon burgundy color. This leans more on the yellow and kinda purple side... which I was disappointed by... but it works none the less. But after my use for it on Halloween, I'm left with a purple scarf.

So if that doesn't matter to you and you are a big Harry Potter fan, this is a great scarf to have with you and show your Hogwarts pride.

No more anticipation as to whether the school bullies will notice that i am there, now i have this awesome scarf that screams "hit me!", and boy do they ever. This scarf has saved me loads of stress, now i do not have to deal with the emotional trauma of not knowing when the first blow will be delivered by the school yard bully, i know i will always be first on his agenda. Even the girl bullies are starting to catch on! This scarf is also durable! I have been whipped around by it on numerous occasions and it only has a little tear near the tag and to be fair that was done by Joanie, she is massive.

Scarf seems like a good scarf, fine for anyone who does not care if the colors are off. Gold was fine but the scarlet was completely purple not even close to red. Otherwise it was okay

As a loyal HP fan, I'm really disappointed with this scarf! The color is weird and different from the picture shown on the website. What I can't bear it that the scarf is extremely smelly and itchy. I regreted cutting the lable before I decided to return it. I'm woudering it can still be returned or not.
If you just want to hang the scarf on the wall to decorate your house, you can buy it. If you want to wear it, you have to overcome the strange smell and itchy wool.

I should've listened to other people's reviews, but I decided to take a chance. I open up the package and I was shocked they sold me a scarf that seemed dirty and smelled terrible. Like they kept them in an old dark damp warehouse, sitting unprotected in boxes somewhere. I can't believe this is what they are sending people and it doesn't come cheap either. I returned it right away. Don't waste your time.
