This is misleading, since these are actually two very different products.

One robe is made with black fleece with red trim meant to suggest lining, and a real embroidered Gryffindor crest. The hood is fully lined with the red material. It is very good quality for the money. My 11 year-old niece put it on as soon as she unwrapped it in the afternoon, and did not take it off until bedtime. She wears it all the time and it is holding up great.

The second is just junk, very thin and flimsy material, crest is printed on, red trim is on the edges of the robe only, not in the hood.

Out of the box, the first robe needed some serious ironing and the red lining was not always stitched in well, but those are the only complaints. I would not bother at all with the second cheaper version. I looked at it in the store and would not pay $5.00 for it, let alone $20.

Make sure you are buying the one that says it has the "embroidered crest" - otherwise, you are getting seriously ripped off.

What I like the most about this is that it's made of a thicker material. For once, I didn't have to force a jacket over my daughter's custume. And she's been wearing it as a snuggie at home. So that beats all.

The quality of this robe is great! It is soft fleece & made very well! My girls are truly very happy with this robe! It is the perfect piece for your special Harry potter fan!

Purchased this robe for my son for his 8th birthday. I was very impressed by the thickness of the material, more of a felt than the thin "halloween" material. He has worn it daily since opening and it has held up great. A few pill balls from wear, but still very nice. I ordered a size bigger to be safe, but it truly is a bit long. Sizing is accurate. Very happy with purchase.

I bought two of these for my kids for Halloween. The robes are a soft fleece like material, fairly thick. I was more than satisfied with the quality of the product and if my kids didn't already have bathrobes they love, I think they would be wearing these robes all winter (and they still do occasionally wear them).

As expected with fast delivery. The quality was super...heavy fabric that hangs nicely. I would recommend this product. The school crest patch is well done also.

When reading the reviews, I wasn't sure if this would be the thick or thin version. I am happy with it. Seems like the price was right for what it is. I don't think this is the extremely cheap thin version complained about.

Overall a good robe. The fabric is okay, but I expected it to be a little heavier based on other reviews. One side of the clasp broke at once so it can still be attached to the robe by an adult but will only stay there if untouched. The hood is nice - long and pointy as seen in the movies. My daughter likes it very much so I gave 4 stars regardless of the broken clasp.

Remarkably good quality for the price, nearly as nice as the $100+ ones you could get at the Harry Potter Stores. Visually authentic, comfortable, a perfect fit for my 8 year old daughter, with room for another year or few.

It was as large as I thought. I was hoping it would be a little larger and longer in lenght.
