I consider myself quite the Harry Potter enthusiast, and now I feel complete! What's a wizard without their owl??? This is such a great toy, she is very life-like, especially her eyes! I recommend this item for any Harry Potter fan...young or old! Now if only she could get the Mail!!!

I accidentally had ordered two of the same thing, and they were great about emailing me a label for UPS so I could return it hassle free. I would definately use them again. Great customer service.

I did not purchase this for a child, so the durability was not an issue, however, it does appear to be very well crafted. I love Hedwig in the Harry Potter films and wanted to add her to my collection of Harry Potter books on my bookshelf. I now have my own owl! I am pleased with my purchase.

This particular Hedwig is very poorly made. It's wings are not the same size and one is sewn on crooked. His beak is crooked. His legs and feet are not sewn on properly. I was very disappointed in the quality but didn't have the heart to send it back. I would buy one in a store, if possible, so that I could see the quality of it.

I bought this Hedwig Plush for my son for his first Christmas, as I am an avid Harry Potter fan. It is just about the softest plush on the market, and he loves to pet Hedwig and rub his face on her. She's surprisingly durable and has a couple of cute details that make her all the more enjoyable. So far it has lasted with no signs of wear and tear. It's my son's favorite toy and he loves to make owl noises and have her fly around the room. I'm very pleased with my purchase overall and am thinking about getting a second for me!

Hedwig was supposed to be the perfect Christmas gift, but the one I received was very poorly made. (Sigh.) The eyes were completely covered by plush and were crooked; the "feather" painting looked like Magic Marker scribbles. Alas, I had to return poor Hedwig (but did get a quick refund).

I suspect Hedwig of the HP books is supposed to look more like a predator (being an owl and all), but I really like my plushie Hedwig. It's a perfect size and shaped for cuddling while taking a nap, and it's just very pretty in general, especially the black-spotted wings. It doesn't stand up on its own on a soft surface like a bed, but stands perfectly on a hard surface and could be used as a display item--you'd have to dust it a lot (at least if you live where I do, where dust is omnipresent and plentiful) b/c Hedwig's surface is very very white. But I can't imagine leaving her on a shelf. Basically plush Hedwig is very pretty and very cuddly. Being an adult (so-called) who never left her first childhood, I can't testify as to her appeal to young children, but I got very attached to her right away.

So far, however, she has yet to bring me my mail, even just from the mailbox.

And now I'll be returning to book reviews!

It is exactly what my son wanted...being a Harry Potter fan. It arrived in great condition and on time. I would recommend this seller.

I could not find any plush Hedwig in local stores. I went on Amazon, and found quite a few. I selected the Hedwig from Penny Lane Gifts. It is a very well made plush--lots of detail. My 9 year old grandson loves it. Definitely a good purchase.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my niece. She is a huge Harry Potter fan and was ecstatic when she received. I think it's a little pricey for what it is, but I would buy it again. Another reviewer complained about the craftsmanship. My owl was beautifully made with no imperfections, so that may have been an anomaly.
