The only con to this product is that although it states it fits adults -one size fits all, the three women who tried it on here barely could get it on their head. So if you need this for a costume it would be best to order well in advance so that you can try it on and be sure you are going to be able to wear it. The model shown makes it seem like it would fit most adults, but we could barely get it on our heads.
The hat is otherwise exactly as shown and described, and I would have been thrilled with it, if it had only fit.

I ordered this hat for myself since I have a small head. It was too small for my jr. high student. Very cute but definitely for a late elementary schooler.

This hat is priced very affordably, so I was surprised by its excellent quality and durability when it arrived! This is a great gift for Harry Potter fans - the fabric is wonderful and it looks just like the hat in the movies. The fit is good for medium-sized kids through smaller-sized adults.

I really love this hat except that, like the other reviewers mentioned, it DOES run small. It sits on my head and fits half-ways like a normal hat should, but it doesn't stay on if something bumps it. I'm using it for a complete Prof. McGonagall costume and so I'll have to have my hair in a bun. I figure I'll just pin it with some bobby pins to keep it securely in place while I'm wearing it. If it would fit like a hat should I'd have definitely given it a 5 star review.

I bought 2 of these hats and am glad I spent the extra money, because they will serve for dress up for years to come! Nice quality hat and I love that it's got a built-in adjuster to tighten for my 3 year old's head (and 6 year old's head)! FYI: it fits my head, too! Comfortable and not cheap looking.

I purchased this hat to accessorize a Hogwart's professor costume I'm sewing. Because I'm using high end fabrics in my costume I felt the fabric quality of the Potter Mcgonagall hat was only fair but it is better than most store bought costumes. It's a soft suede-like material. I am a very petite woman yet this hat barely fits. It's too tight for comfort. The hat style is cute and I've given the hat to my 7 year old. It's a perfect fit! For a child's costume this hat is a good value for the money. My hat arrived in the bottom of a shipment of several items. It was slightly crushed but I think it will be fine with time. Most witches hats are a little worn looking anyway. Overall impression: A great hat for a child's costume.

Used this witch's hat to be the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz and it worked very well. The hat is made well and can be used many times for a variety of witch types as well as portraying McGonagall from Harry Potter.

This was a fun costume piece for Holloween for my 11 year old grandaughter. It's well made and looks like the one Minerva wears in the Potter films. All in all I feel this was a really good purchase. I shop Amazon all the time and am rarely dissappointed, I was very pleased with this one.
