It's a great coloring book,

Sure, it could have been much bigger and included way more pictures, but the people all look like who they're supposed to be and there is enough detail to color to interest older colorers. I've seen many coloring books that have horrible likenesses. This one is fun and better than most and it's certainly cheap enough.

Okay - no text!,

The coloring book doesn't have any text to go along with the pictures - okay if you know what's happening or you want to make up your own story. I think this is great for older kids who know all the story lines, but it's difficult to explain to a 5-year old who knows the Harry Potter basics but not the character names or the significance of a particular picture. I read the books myself, but I can't remember all the details he likes to drill me on!
The good news is kids can use their imaginations, and there is a lot of detail to color which holds their attention and strengthens fine motor skills.

Fair,
By MunchkinMommie "book-a-holic" (Tennessee) - See all my reviews

This coloring book can only be called fair. Yes, it is Harry Potter so the children were thrilled. But the scenes picked were not exactly the ones I would have chosen. For example, there was not one of Marge blown up and floating away! Ok, if you are like my children and just wanted the latest Harry Potter coloring book...but I think I'll keep a look out for something better.
