This game rules!!!!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone (Game Cartridge)
I think this game is the best game since Super Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo! I don't actually have the game yet,but I've played it once and it is really fun! You start the game in Privet Drive then move on to Diagon Alley where you buy all your wizarding needs. Ofcourse you first must navigate through the Gringotts maze to get you money. Once you have all your supplies,to the Hogwarts Express! After the Hogwarts Express you get to Hogwarts finaly. The castle is huge! You collect and trade wizard cards to improve Harry's strength. This game is really fun and will definately be a huge hit among gamers so it would be smart to reserve it,or you'll find yourself with an empty shelf. Thanks and see you at Hogwarts!

A GREAT game,

This review is from: Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone (Game Cartridge)
This game is great! So far I've shopped on Diagon Alley, attended my first day of classes at Hogwarts, snooped in the teachers' offices, collected wizard cards, and battled spiders, bats and rats. This game reminds me of Zelda, another good RPG. The graphics are great for a Gameboy game.

My Favorite Gameboy Game,
By Jonathan Lewis (Baton Rouge, LA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone (Game Cartridge)
I love playing Pokemon (I have all of them: Red, blue, gold, Crystal, etc) and Dragon Warrior Monsters, even Zelda, but my FAVORITE is Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone. I am a mega Harry Potter fan, and this game is essential to my Game-boy list! True, some levels were difficult (Snape's Potion Quest, and defeating the Troll in the bathroom) but if they were too easy where would the fun be? I hope to get the PC version of the game for my birthday (Dec 29). I saw the movie twice, read all the books, and knowing all about Harry will help some with the game, but it's not required. I hope they make gameboy versions of the other Harry Potter books!!!!! (P.S. My Dad plays the game, too. You can have up to 3 people playing the game and saving where they left off. After looking at the other reviews he said to tell you to ask Hagrid for where the items needed for Snape's Quest are located.)

Tips for the Game 3 :),
By A Customer
This review is from: Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone (Game Cartridge)
It's time to write some new tips! I have heard that some are having trouble finding classes(I must admit, it took me forever to find Potions Class). Here is where the classes are:Potions: Dungeon(door on left side of marble stairs) Transfiguration:1st Floor Charms:2nd Floor Defense Against Dark Arts:3rd Floor History of Magic:4th Floor Herbology:Grounds(to the left) Broom Flight Class:Grounds(after getting outside, take a right on the first path that you come to,it will lead to the class) Also, people are having trouble on "Explore Hogwarts While Using the Invisibility Cloak". Go to the Library, to the Restricted Section. First, find a thin, ENTIRELY blue shelf(it should be right in front of you)and press A. You will find Locomotor Mortis. YOU MUST DO THIS FIRST. Go to any other shelf(it doesn't really matter)and go along it until Harry says,"I wonder what this book is about?". If your sound is on you will hear an alarm because Madam Pince just entered the library. She will be blocking one door, and Filch will be blocking the other. SLOWLY go up the stairs in the library and out the last door, which isn't being blocked. QUIETLY go past Snape and up the stairs. Keep going up. On the 5th floor, Mrs. Norris is blocking the way to get up the stairs(if you try to get past her you'll get caught). Go across to the right side of the hall into a thin hallway. Snape and Filch will block your way. Go to the door at the other end and you will find the Mirror of Erised. Let me know what you think of these new tips.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, a great game!,

This review is from: Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone (Game Cartridge)
This game is one of my best GBC games I own. I got it for a early Christmas present and I couldn't stop playing it after that! I played it for 4 hrs. at Thanksgiving. You start out in Diagon Ally, a wizard's shopping area then you find your way to Hogwarts, do tasks for the teachers, learn totally awesome spells and even meet Fluffy, the three headed dog! This game is challenging, yet not too challenging for people to get frusterated. It is a great game for the Game Boy Color!!!(GBC)

The best GameBoy game ever (Kari),
This review is from: Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone (Game Cartridge)
This game is the best GameBoy game I've ever played. I've had it for two days, and I've played it for over six hours. I like that you can pick your own spells, and you battle bats and other icky creatures. I also like that you can talk with Hagrid, Hermione, Ron, and other characters from the book. It's challenging. In one of the challenges you have to find potion ingredients for Snape, and it takes a LONG time (I haven't finished it yet). If you are a Harry Potter fan I think you should try this game.

A Disappointment,
By A Customer
This review is from: Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone (Game Cartridge)
I had extremely high hopes for this game, but as I started to play, I became very disappointed (and confused). A huge deal is made about the Famous Witches and Wizards cards, random people in Diagon Alley offer you things, and you fight battles against rats, snakes, and suits of armor. Professor Snape sends you on a search for ingredients to cure Neville Longbottom, you need to navigate through the dungeon of Hogwarts before you get sorted, and there are many other details that are incorrect. Hogwarts is extremely difficult to navigate around, and there are many, many things I have never heard of in any of the books appearing in the game. There is a whole world to the Famous Witches and Wizards Cards, and apparently you are supposed to compete. This reminds me much of the Pokemon game; there are points that keep you alive, and certain spells that you use to defeat little rats and snakes. When you are finally defeated, you are sent to Madam Pomfrey, and you must start your task over again. There are some good points to the game; the graphics are very good and the images of the people look plausable. Overall, though, I am disappointed with this game. I had expected much better.

Great Game,

I just bought this game, and I think it is great you start off in Diagon Alley. You have to go to your vault in order to get money to by your school supplies (like robes, A wand, Books, and other cool things). When you are in Gringgotts you have to go through a maze to get to your vault and fight magical creatures. After that you get to Hogwarts. Your first class is Potions and finding the ingreidents is not hard at all for those of you who need help i will help you you find the beetle eyes in Hagrids Yard you find the Snake Fangs in the garden by Herbolygy Class but in order to get them you have to fight a snake and you find the boom slang skin on a picture of a snake in Snapes office ok . then you go to the rest of your classes but i am having much diffuculty with fightin the three rats in gringotts for the Cirs Card. That is where i am right now so if you are not sure if you want to buy this game or not buy it it is on of the best games for gbc it has great graphics but you can tell that the people who made it also made pokemon. "BUY THIS THIS GAME"
