5.0 out of 5 stars Best of the Mattel Boys action figures
Excellent sculptural details and color for an inexpensive toy. Infinitely better than the crude model photo on the package. That one may have been a pre-production style.

Three minor complaints:

1) Rough play with the broom handle will break it.

2) The Golden Snitch is very small and easily lost. Mattel should have built in a way of fastening it securely to Harry's...

1.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking but not as useful or durable as we hoped
We have had the Quidditch Harry figure less than a week and my son and his friends who aren't usually too hard on toys have played with it about twice and his foot broke off. This may be a fluke, but I'm not sure. His leg sticks out at a funny angle. When we tried to use it with the powercaster playset we couldn't get his foot to lock in position. I'm sure this...

Three minor complaints:

1) Rough play with the broom handle will break it.

2) The Golden Snitch is very small and easily lost. Mattel should have built in a way of fastening it securely to Harry's hand.

3) No instructions were included for the cheesy Magic Medallion. I have no idea what to do with it.

Otherwise, "Quidditch Harry" is good enough for casual miniature collectors, adults included.

This toy is one of the best toys I got for my birthday. I play with it every day.I have the Harry Potter game on Playsation, and when I play the quidditch part, I play with him by my side. Like the real Harry Potter is there telling me what to do. Anyway, this toy is great to play with at a reasonable price.
(Parents: If you get this toy, your kids will even do chores without you telling them. That way they have more time to play with it!)

Quidditch Harry is really neat. He comes in his red and yellow Gryffindor robes, his hand, wrist, and leg gaurds, his Nimbus 2000-- the most popular and newest broom, the golden Snitch, a Casting Stone, and a magic medallion. It's neat how he can sit on top of his broom and you can make him fly around. Of course if smaller children are buying it, watch out for the tiny Snitch. All in all, he's really fun!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun to play with!, January 24, 2002

I am crazy about Harry Potter and so is my younger cousin. The toy is fun to play with but the problem is that after a while, unlike computer games and board games, a kid could get bored of it. Still that can happen with anything anyone gets. I couldn't think of a way this toy could be educational but my cousin got really creative with the toy and that was educational. He even tied a rope around it and made the figure into a string type device, making it fly and sword fighting with it. Since I am also crazy over Harry Potter I also enjoyed playing with this toy for a while. But it's really fun when you get the "Ron figure" and the "Hogwarts castle figure". Then you can even make your own Harry Potter stories. And of coarse what's Harry Potter without Hermione so it's fun to have her figure too but my cousin doesn't have it yet. Overall it's a fun toy to have and is really enjoyable to play with....

This is definitely the coolest of all the Harry action figures. None of them really LOOK like him, but this one is so cool that it doesn't really matter. The little Snitch is SO AWESOME! It'd be cooler if he came with a more realistic broomstick, and most of the stuff that comes with the figures is lame (little games, whatever). What would be really neat is to have a little letter that came with Harry, his Hogwarts letter, on a real little scroll. Or a Hedwig with real feathers. Or for Q. Harry in particular, all the Quidditch balls, not just the Snitch. How about some real leather? Removable gloves? Hair that you can comb? (Hello, at least half of the HP fandom is female! And don't think that some of the boys wouldn't like to comb Harry's tousled tresses as well!) What about some high quality figurines for those of us who are willing to shell out the cash? I'd be into that.

I have many Harry Potter figures, but this is the best. The figure is the most fun of them all. It has much more accessories than the others I have. This is a must for all collectors.
