Although not as detailed as the prop in the film, this wood or resin copy (it's not metal) is a cool prop for an HP costume and an interesting necklace. I have gotten comments from HP fans and just general people who liked the look. It seems a bit fragile, so I have discouraged a lot of spinning by kids, but you can definitely spin it some and the sand in the hourglass really runs down. It is a fun way to remind you to use your time wisely and has interesting quotes engraved around the edges of the large and medium rings. On the large ring: "I mark the hours every one, nor have I yet outrun the sun". On the medium ring: "My use and value unto you depends on what you have to do". The small ring is blank.

Don't be misled by the title "Sticker Kit". Yes, this box contains a tiny little Harry Potter sticker book, but it also contains a replica of Hermione's Time Turner! You can wear it to the upcoming book and movie release parties, and it's easily and affordably replaceable if it breaks. I only gave it 4 stars because it comes out of the box looking a little shabby (sloppy paint, etc.). There is also a Golden Snitch mini kit, which I would give 4 stars for the same reason. With Amazon's "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" deal and Free Super Saver shipping, you can get 4 Harry Potter mini kits for just under $27! That's what I did!

This is a fantastic replica of the time turner used in the Harry Potter movie. The fact that it has stickers is nice, but clearly the nicest thing is the time turner. There is real sand in the glass hourglass. Although not an accurate time keeper, it is great. My son saw the expensive one from the Noble collection for $50, but he didn't care that it was different. This was a last minute exta-little-something gift for my son's birthday and it was his favorite present.

It seemed too good to be true. A replica time turner for under $20?? I decided to take a chance and bought this for my eight year old son to wear while he read "The Prisoner of Azkaban". I initially considered the more expensive, authentic-looking time turner replica (also available on Amazon for nearly 10 times the price). But, after reading many negetive reviews including complaints that it's beautiful but far too delicate, I decided this one would be more appropriate.

I'm SO happy with this little time turner. Everytime we talk about Harry Potter, my son runs to his room and comes back wearing it. The chain is very long, not quite as long as the movie, but it makes it seem more authentic and less like a girl's necklace. He wears it all the time and loves to spin it as he reads.

I plan on ordering a couple more, as back ups, because I know that eventually the plastic will break. He wears it a lot and it's not showing any signs of wear (we've had it about a year).

If you are looking for a time turner that you can wear or give to a child, I would highly reccomend this item and think you will be pleased. If you are an adult looking for a collectible to put on a shelf, then you might want to consider the other version. (I do not own the more expensive version).

Our son wanted a a much more expensive Time Turner as a gift, but knowing that it would get little use, we opted to order this one. Was not disapointed and neither was our son.

My daughter got this to complete her Hermione costume for halloween. She has used it a few times and it has held up well. It's a fun trinket to have if you are into the movies.

Just like the Golden Snitch kit from the same line, the Harry Potter Time-Turner Sticker Kit is a fantastic value for Harry Potter fans looking for good quality but affordable and durable replicas.

As is the case with these kits, the set also comes with a small book of stickers. This time around, the stickers are nearly all movie stills from the film version of Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban. There are eight stickers in all. Like with the snitch, it's not worth buying the kit for the stickers, but unlike the snitch, the stickers in this kit are at least more relevant to the film the prop replica originates from.

Once again, the real reason to purchase this kit is the replica included. The Time-Turner looks positively fantastic. It's made out of much the same type of golden painted plastic as the golden snitch, which means that while it's not real metal, it also doesn't feel overly cheap or fragile. The individual rings on the turner all spin, which is a great touch, and the hourglass in the center does work. (Though it takes only a few seconds for the sand to siphon through.) The outside edges of each ring feature an inscription that reads "I mark the hours every one nor have I yet outrun the sun. My use & value unto you are gauged by what you have to do." The chain attached to the turner appears to be made out of real metal of some sort, and it's nice and long, so the piece can easily be worn like a necklace, just like in the film.

The only fault I can really spot is that the whole thing is a bit thick. Each ring is quite a bit thicker on this replica than how the Time-Turner appears in the movie. This isn't especially noticeable, and I assume it makes the rings more durable, so it's not really a problem. The holes and star shapes punched from the center are less intricate than the movie version, but by and large, this replica closely matches the film prop. It's at least on par with the Golden Snitch in terms of quality.

Once more, this is a great replica for Harry Potter fans. These sticker kits are quite affordable, and the replicas inside are of good quality, and really do resemble the movie props. For those who love Prisoner of Azkaban, this is an excellent replica to have.

I bought one of these quite a while back. At first I was disappointed at the necklace, but for $7 I really can't complain. It's fully functioning and a great little model of a necklace that's not really something you can make at home. The chain in very long, more like the one in the movie. I liked that, but for a child it would probably be too long. All in all it's a must have for any Hermione outfit. :)

I was hesitant to purchase this based on some of the reviews saying the Time Turner had arrived broken or broke shortly after they received it. But I figured for the price, even if my 8 year old broke it, I wouldn't be out that much money.

This arrived perfectly fine and my daughter has played with it for the last two weeks with no problems.
