Fans of the Harry Potter series can reenact their favorite story scenes or create new adventures with Mattel’s micro playsets. Though it may be tiny, the Platform 9-3/4 playset is packed with accessories and moving features. Place one of the two included figures on the stand between platforms 9 and 10, then push the rock to open the 9-3/4 entrance. Turn the chimney stack on the train’s engine to see the wheels spin. Pull the engine’s headlight to have another secret compartment pop open. A plastic luggage trolley, suitcase, and candy cart are also included and can be easily stored inside the train when playtime is over. The front of the train car can attach to the Hogwarts School deluxe micro playset (sold separately) for even more play possibilities. --Pam Lauer

I think this is a great toy beside the high price...I love the characters and the seats on the train.I love making up silly adventures to act out.I have already got the Forbidden Corrider so I can make Hermionie play too. The Hogwarts
Castle, Hagrids Hut,and Womping Willow are on the way to my house in the mail. But any kid that has an active imagination should love this toy.

I got Platform 9 and 3/4 for my birthday (as well as the Hogwarts) and it's totally one of my favorites! Did I mention I'm 14? I love the barrier that gets you into it. And where you can keep the luggage. I had to have it! I love the sweets trolley, and even though I already had Harry and Ron, I also loved them. I'm not sure this is 'educational' but you can always teach your children the noise a train makes *Choochoo* Hehe. I really think 'you' whoever 'you' is should get it.

Cute toy, my boys HAD to get this. We missed it when it first came out, they were too little for the small pieces. Wish I had bought these playsets then when the prices were lower, but glad to finally find it. Seller shipped very fast and my boys are excited to add this piece of Harry Potter playset to their castle.
