Actually, it's pretty funny
Most reviews of this movie say it misses the mark, that it isn't all that funny, etc. I like it. REDS MEETS THE STING
diane keaton plays a crusading reporter, like she did in REDS, though here it's for laughs. keaton and cann reuinited from THE GODFATHER; this movie looks more expensive than THE GODFATHER. cann and eliot goulde in a THE STING type movie, with ted cassidy showing up from BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID (and THE ADDAMS FAMILY). and...

Most reviews of this movie say it misses the mark, that it isn't all that funny, etc. I like it. Caan and Gould play excellent buffoons; in fact, few play a complete airhead like James Caan can (Tommy Smothers of course comes to mind). This movie contains a real historical figure in the form of Adam Worth, an actual 19th century criminal mastermind who is the subject of an upcoming movie starring Christian Bales. And, Shang Draper's really DID exist. That historicity in itself makes it very unique. Anyway, the acting is first-rate in this show, and I would recommend it to anyone. I laughed out loud several times. The story is easy to follow and allows all involved to exercise their comic abilities. So, get a copy and enjoy some really good actors in a light comedy that is really unique.

This is a very entertaining movie concerning some inept conmen trying to make the biggest bank heist of the 19th century starring James Caan,Elliot Gould,Micheal Caine,Diane Keaton and others.It's a must see!!

It was the best michael caine movie i ever watch and diane keaton was awesome in it. in the movie you really don't expect what happens in the movie. it was the best diane keaton she was ever in.
