We got the gorilla for our 6 mo. old mini dachshund. It bounces like a ball with a bit of randomness from the arms and legs. He loves it. The squeak is a bit different than most of the air-filled toys, and isn't quite as loud. He chews on it all the time and hasn't made a mark on it. A bigger dog might be able to do some damage. Flexa-Foam is a soft latex coating over a foam core. It feels very nice, even compared to air-filled latex toys.

Our Aussie Shepard destroys most soft toys we have bought him. We bought these Hartz roundabouts dog toys for him about 1 year ago. He loves them and does not destroy them. They last pretty much forever until the squeaker gives out. We could not find any more locally, but did find them on Amazon. We like them because they are soft and do not damage furniture / walls if thrown in the house for our dog to chase. Plus, he plays with them incessantly keeping him very occupied.

Finally, a dog toy that has a squeaker that lasts. This Kangaroo is a bit larger than previous toys purchased, and also slightly harder/tougher making it great for my mini schnauzer. The squeaker is louder too, and does interfere with listening to TV. Worth the money for a lasting dog toy that gets a work out every day and is still intact.

I have had trouble finding toys that last for my Airedale Terrier puppy, and I was pleasantly surprised at how long this one has lasted. It's still in one piece after more than a month!

The unusual squeak and squishy feel make these toys special.

The day we brought home our 7-year-old rescue dog, Mia, we took her to the pet store to pick out a toy. We squeaked and shook a number of things in her face and she showed interest in none of them except the large Hartz Gorilla. She immediately took it in her mouth and it's been her favorite. She plays keep-away with our other dog, who loves it too, when he can get his mouth on it. We also bought the mini-gorilla, Hippo and mini-hippo, which don't seem as durable, since they've been variously dismembered and decapitated. The original Gorilla is still in good shape.

I recently bought the Kangaroo and Elephant from Amazon, which are equally delightful, and haven't been destroyed yet.

Our dog absolutely loves these. He goes through phases where he rips the limbs off, so we've been through about 20 Roundabouts - They're great!!

We bought these toys for our large and medium dog. We have tried several different styles of toys over the years and these are the only kind that they haven't been able to destroy. After summers spent in the yard in the 100+ degree sun and sprinklers, the elephant's ear just separated from the body. When I went to order new toys, Amazon helpfully told me that the last time I bought this item was in 2009! That's a win in my book - most toys don't last a week.

Have a 10 month old puppy that previously had the kangaroo but was distroyed because of the amount of play and chewing. Was very happy when found online so purchased several. Love this toy!

We ordered 5 for out rot and he just loves them. Its rather durable if the dog doesn't always chew on it but its defiantly worth the buy.

I have an 8 month old bullmastiff. I gave this toy to her and by the time I finished pouring my coffee she had already broken the squeeker AND ripped one of the arms off. Would not recommend to those with aggressive chewers.
