Great game, but a little TOO easy., July 18, 2009
This review is from: Harvard 2-Minute Drill (Sports)
I ordered this product and it came yesterday. Setup was not bad, you should have no problems if you follow the instructions. Now, onto using what I paid for.
It seems like even though there's 6 footballs, you have to bend over and reach out to grab them, unless you tighten the mat itself. Not a real big deal, but just wanted everyone to know that.
Now, in terms of scoring is where I'm a bit disappointed. There's 3 ways to score, by either throwing it into the 2 point, 3 point or 7 point target. The 2 point target is the easiest, 3 point is not that hard, and the 7 pointer is pretty tough to score on. Unfortunately what really was a bummer is that you have a whole 2 minutes to score as many points as possible. Now I would be fine with this, but the problem is that you can only go up to 99 points max, and then no matter what you do, you can't score anymore after that. On a plus note though, the reset button that comes on the side can be pressed so that you can stop your game at any time and keep your score on the board while letting player 2 go next. So that means that you can basically set your own time limit if you want, but you just have to press the red button when you need to stop.
Overall, I would give this 5 stars but like I said, the game is a bit too easy to play, unless of course you want to pace yourself with the red restart button. Nevertheless, it is still a great game and I am very happy with it.
