KURTZMAN'S MASTERPIECE,
By A Customer
This review is from: Harvey Kurtzman's Jungle Book (Paperback)
It's a shame that this book isn't inprint and available to everyone since it is HK's true masterpiece. Originally published in 1959, Kitchen Sink re-printed it nearly 25 years later in a bigger, more durable format. This book contains four stories parodying the P.I. genre, the Western, the Southern novel and a particularly sharp satire of the publishing industry. I've probably read and re-read it a dozen times over the years.

A Master's Masterpiece,
By A Customer
This review is from: Harvey Kurtzman's Jungle Book (Hardcover)
The Jungle Book is very well the best drawn graphic novel I have ever seen, being placed beside Frank Miller and many other kings of the buisness. Harvey Kurtzman shows that he is at his best, even though he has taken his leave from EC Comics. This book is true art, museum material. Buy it, you will love it.

Rather tragically, the publisher has ceased trading, so if you've no stock of this book you're unlikely to get any reprints.
