My three-year-old son adores our wonderfully friendly mailman. As a result he is enthralled by any book or video pertaining to a mailman. Harvey Hare, Postman Extraordinaire is one of our favorite naptime/bedtime books. It is a gentle store of the faithful hare who delivers mail to all the meadow creatures in any type of weather. In return the community thanks him for his faithfulness by collecting flora and fauna to create a beautiful gift -- an umbrella to protect him from the elements. The illustrations are beautiful and soothingly dreamy.
