I love reading this book to my kids. It's not a book you need to reserve for Christmas, it's great anytime. The illustrations are fun and simple. The text is repetitive, good for younger kids. And the end is perfect.

My sister, a preschool teacher, suggested this book for my four young grandsons, age two, three, four, and six. They loved the book with all the adventures this kind Santa went through. They loved helping me read the repetitive lines on each page and all had a guess of what was in the present left for Harvey. Should be on every young family's book shelf!

WE LIKED THIS SIMPLE TO READ & UNDERSTAND STORY WITH THE WAY SANTA GOES FAR FAR AND AWAY beyond THE CALL OF DUTY TO GET HIS JOB DONE! WE HAVE 3 SONS 9 TO 4YRS. AND SO EACH WAS ASSIGNED A CERTAIN "REPEATED PHASE" ...(WHEN IT CAME TIME TO READ THEIR PHASE ON EACH OF THE PAGES) IT REALLY BROUGHT THE STORY TO LIFE & THEY DID ENJOY SOME OF THE TINY-EST LITTLE DETAILED SANTA'S ON HIS WAY TO ROLY POLY MOUNTAIN!
THIS BOOK IS A KEEPER! DIFFERENT SPECIAL & GLAD TO HAVE IN OUR COLLECTION!!! |
