I am a huge fan of the I Has a Hotdog website so when this book came up for review I was thrilled! What better way to relax then look at pictures of cute dogs with funny captions? This is really cute and I recommend it for all dog lovers! It's good, clean humor, and every single puppy in the book is adorable. It is a super quick read, but if you are new to LOLdog speak it may take you a little longer to get through.

I love animals. Absolutely adore them and am passionate about anything to do with them, whether it be supporting fantastic no-kill shelters like Best Friends Animal Sanctuary or reading through books that feature adorable animal pictures.

I Has a Hotdog will give you warm fuzzies, which surely is its main objective, as well as making you laugh out loud. I chuckled, giggled and outright bellylaughed over some of the adorable and wisecracking dogs gracing the pages of this book. Who wouldn't love a sad eyed dog begging for a hotdog, or a dog caught cuddling up with the dreaded cat and looking appropriately shamed (but when it's thundering, rules are meant to be broken, right?)

I Has a Hotdog is the perfect gift for the dog (or animal) lover in your friends and relatives, or even yourself!

Of course this review is biased, what owner would not give 5 stars to a book where his dog showed up? Would I buy this book if my dog was not in it? Absolutely. I frequent IHAH on daily basis, and having this little book available is a nice reminder on how funny the pics and captions are.

The book is divided into sections which keeps the different pics grouped under the same theme. For $8, this book is a steal, get it now!

Have you ever wondered what your, or any, dog was really thinking? This book spells it out for you. Tons of pictures of adorable dogs with cute, clever, funny, and ridiculous captions that perfectly capture the dog's sentiments comprise this cute little tome. Common themes are how dogs can get food, how cute they are, and getting away with bad behavior.

Long a fan of the Lolcats and Loldogs, as well as the many other websites that are a part of the I Can Has Cheezeburger Network, it should come as no surprise that I am also a huge fan of their merchandise and books. Hubby bought be Lolcat and Failblog merchandise for our first Christmas, which I loved, and I was totally stoked when I won this book to review. And of course, it did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, my head just about exploded from all the cute.

This is not the kind of book one can just jump into; you should have some kind of background knowledge of the internet sensation known as Loldogs before buying it, otherwise you will not appreciate the book as much. Yes the dogs will still be adorable, but you will be confused by the captions, which are often misspelled and grammatically incorrect. It is just one of those internet meme things, either you get it or you don't. But when you do, you love it, and will love this book. Regardless though, the pictures are ridiculously awesome, and make this book a total win for any pet lover. At this great price, it makes a good stocking stuffer for the dog lover that on your holiday list.

You've seen the cat pictures right? I Can Haz A Cheezburger. I didn't realize there was a site for dogs too! I Has A Hotdog. Now there is a book. The kids and I have cracked up over and over again at the pictures in this book. We've also done a lot of awwwww! How cute! for some of the pictures. How can you not? Any animal lover is going to adore the pictures in this book and anyone who enjoys the two sites I linked above will crack up at the captions. I don't really have a lot more to say other than, too funny! We keep pulling it out and going through it. It's just a lot of fun with a lot of really really cute pictures!

I'm giving it 5 stars because it is a book every single member of my family has enjoyed. Even my 15 month old points at the pictures to tell us it's a puppah. :)

Mix two parts cute (adorable doggies) with one part silly (captions of what they're really thinking) and the result is I Has a Hot Dog by Professor Happy Cat. This hysterical little picture book is just what the doctor ordered for a quick pick-me-up. While perusing this book in public I had to stifle my laughs because they just kept coming!

I Has a Hot Dog is the perfect gift for dog lovers everywhere!

I love this book. Makes a cute gift for an animal lover or a book to keep in a restroom or a conversation starter. It's a small book i thought it would be larger but it is small. I am happy with my purchase

whether you're a dog lover or not, this book is fun!! my kids & i read it over & over, quote it lots of times. lots of laughs!

If you are a fan of [...] and the books that came from it this book may seem like "not quite on target". I love all animals so it isn't just a dog vs. cat thing but many of the captions don't seem quite as funny although the photos alone are worth the price of the book.

If you love LOL animals, this is a great little coffee table book. And mine is the 4th dog pictured :)
