I purchased one phone for my 14 month old and it was very loud and obnoxious. I replaced it with this one and an much happier. My daughter can hold it easily in her hand and the sounds are not too long or too loud. I recommend it.

My little boy seems to mostly want to play with things that are not his toys, as I am sure most of you can relate to. I was looking for a toy phone that would hopefully satisfy is desire for our real phone and this one has done a pretty good job. He loves to play with the different face plates as much as with the phone. The "safari" faceplate is his favourite because it makes animal sounds, but the most annoying for my husband and I because it all answering machines..."The monkeys (insert monkey sound here) are not at home.." you get the idea. My 6 months old son has been showing interest in it also, looks in absolute amazement when it talks then laughs. More than worth the money if your child likes to play with the phone!

I purchased the cell phone for my 16-month old niece for Christmas. Out of all the gifts she got, this is the one she carried around and kept going back to. She is just starting to talk and would hold it up and say "Hi!" and have her own little conversation. Her Mom thinks its great too, now, she can talk on the "adult" phone without interruption, while the little one talks on "her" phone. She hasn't quite managed the changing of faceplates yet, but is happy with the phone in whatever mode it operates. She drops it and throws it quite often and it has held up quite well.

My 16 month old loves to imitate and this phone has done the trick. It looks more like a real cell phone compared to others we have purchased. It is also more durable, since the others we have bought for her have already broken apart. She isn't too crazy about the extra face plates yet, but maybe when she gets a little older and can better understand the concept of it.

Although this toy is too big for my child right now, I help her out by pushing the buttons and she likes it...I found that there are many different things that it does and the different faces add variety...I think that in a few months we will begin to get alot of use from this toy...(right now my baby is 6 months old)

Since my son (14 months) is absolutely fascinated with our phones, I thought this would be an awesome toy for him. It is well-made and the volume seems right (not too loud, not too quiet), but he just hasn't taken to it like we thought he would and still prefers the "real thing." The various faceplates are fun - the safari one in particular is an absolute hoot - my husband and I both laughed out loud at what it says, and the animal sounds are great. I don't think the toy is a bad one at all - just not one that clicked with my son.

My Grandson had a plastic cell phone which broke, my daughter then gave him an old phone of hers and while playing with it he dialed 911, much to his surprise someone answered. He got scared and told his Mom he didn't want the phone anymore. Grandma to the rescue. I found this phone on your website and because my grandsons live in another state it makes it very easy to send them a surprise once in a while. Thanks and Reid thanks you too.

I got this phone for my 15 month old cell phone obsessed son. He loves it! Usually a good toy will occupy him for a half an hour or so, but he got this yesterday and has not put it down.

This phone was given as a gift to my 18-month old (at the time) twin boys. Like all babies/toddlers they love having their own phone. What's great about this phone is that it not only dials and rings, but it provides a variety of greetings and phone messages. I have often found my sons repeating the phone greetings, in the appropriate contexts. A great learning toy.

Super cute, would gave it 5 stars but the face plates are too hard for the younger set to change.
