I bought this game to entertain my girls during our summer at home. Both my 3 and 5 year olds LOVED it. It is an interesting, yet simple to understand concept. My 3 year old was a little distracted waiting for her turn, but loved every chance she got to press the magic slipper. Only drawback is that there is no "game box" to store in. We just use the box it came in, but it's not designed for that purpose. I thought the game was a bit expensive to have no storage for pieces, etc. This would be a fantastic birthday gift for girls 3-8.

This is an excellent all-around well made board game. I bought it for my daughter (4.5 years) when she had her tonsils out this spring. Even my 7 yo son enjoys playing it. I like to play it with my daughter as it is interesting and fun and doesn't take too long to complete. We all like to press the slipper to see it will become enchanted or if we will get "gonged" I highly recommend this game and give it as a gift without reservation.

I bought this for my daughter (3yrs old) who has enjoyed simpler board games such as Candyland. This is her first dice-driven game where she has to count the spaces and meet objectives. She loves Cinderella, and there are enough opportunities to reverse your fortune in this game that it keeps the adults entertained as well. This game has broadened her game playing abilities and given her a new avenue for social interaction. It's been a big hit, being played several times every day since we got it.

I have a daughter that is nearly 3 years old and she loves this game. It plays quickly and the rules are very simple. She can count to six and she loves actually being able to do everything herself. Basically, you roll a die and move your princess that number of spaces. If you land on a card space, you then get that card. You try to collect all five cards. When your princess lands on the fairygodmother spaces, you get to push the glass slipper. If the bell tolls, you don't get to turn a card over. But, if it "enchants", you turn one of your cards over (the ragged clothes are then a beautiful gown, the mice are magically transformed into horses, the pumkin card becomes a carriage.. you get the idea). If you are the first to have all your cards enchanted, you win. This is easy enough for ages 2.5 and up. It's only mildly entertaining to my almost 7 year old. She wants to play once in awhile, but since it doesn't create a challenge for her at all, she easily gets distracted and bored with it. I'd say ages 2.5-6years is probably more accurate than the 4+ age on the box.
Overall, I think it's great. It's VERY hard to find games for the under 5 years category that aren't too simple or too complicated. This one is just right :)

After reading all of the positive reviews I decided to purchase this as a Christmas present for my four year old. The game was a hit at first simply because it was "princess". But after playing this game several times you realize that there just aren't enough chances to "push the slipper". You keep landing on draw cards spots which you've already acquired the cards for. So you keep going around the board with nothing to do. The game drags on for both adult and child. Needless to say this game is not played very often.

I bought this for my daughter for her 6th birthday. She loves it! And it's a game parents won't mind playing as well. It's a simple game and doesn't take forever. I think this will be a favorite of ours for some time.

My daughter loves this game. She is able to play it with her friends without my help, which I love. The rules are simple enough for my four year old to remember without me having to review prior to playing the game. Even setting up the board is easy enough for her to do it on her own. Cute idea for a little girl.

My daughter is almost 7 and we have had this game for several years now. It's fun to play and is very well made. Not very educational, mostly you win by chance but there is a little bit of strategy involved when it comes to deciding which card to turn over. Box has held up well also.

We are a game family, we have more games than we have space for, but I consider this one of my absolute favorites and a must have for every little girl! My younger daughter doesn't enjoy game night as much because her older sister always wants to play games that are too complex for her, when we play this game she absolutely shines with confidence, she knows this is a game she can play as well as the rest of us. Its a game of total chance, no strategizing necessary and it doesn't have too many rules to remember either, nor does it take very long to win the game. I really truly adore this game! I did feel the slipper was WAY too loud so I simply covered the speaker with a few layers of packing tape. I was surprised to see the price at $40, while I do love the game I don't think its worth that price (I paid much less for it a few years ago).

This game was purchased for my 3 yr. old granddaughter and 4 yr. old grandson. This game includes counting spaces dots on dice and choosing cards. We had much fun with this game. Because of my grandchildren's attention span, we pooled the cards we earned. Then, when someone could touch the magic slipper, we all decided which card to turn over. That way, we worked together to win the game. Also, when the game became too long, we left the pieces as is and then resumed later.
