The packaging for this Indiana Jones version of Monopoly - a wooden shipping box like the crate for the Ark in "Raiders" - is certainly unique; the rest of the game is well-conceived, too. Other reviews I read (on other sites) said that some of the property cards were misprinted but ours, purchased in Dec. 2008, are all correct. Hasbro seems to have corrected the misprint. The only negatives I would give this version is that (1) the houses (golden idols) tend to fall over and (2) there is no Ark of the Covenant player piece. But overall, Hasbro has done a great job on this game.

We have a couple Monopoly sets, and picked this one up for my daughter a couple years ago. She's a big Indiana Jones fan and even as a teen still loves family game nights.
The wooden crate is a little rough so watch for splinters, but that's really my only complaint with the set. The pieces are detailed, the board is true to the story line of the movies and it's a good looking set. Our set doesn't have typos that I noticed. Like the other reviewer said, sometimes the pieces don't stand up right but nobody has really complained about that.
Recommended if you have a family member who really loves the Indiana Jones movie. It's one of the better themed Monopoly sets.

The intrest of this product is the collector value. The wooden box and metal pieces are nice. Concerning the game play noyhing chances. The references to the movies are fun.

I was disappointed to see that most of the property deeds are missprinted. They have one property printed on the front and another printed on the back.
I was also surprised to see a lot of posts about same issue going back 3 years ago!

I bought this game for my 8 year old grandson, who is an Indiana Jones fan. He loves it and so do I! Nothing electronic here; just good old fashioned fun with lots of personal interaction.

The box that this game comes in is super cool! It's real wood and if you're looking for the novelty of this being Indiana Jones it's perfect! I was a little sticker shocked at the price originally but have to say that if you really are wanting a very cool Indiana Jones themed Monopoly you won't be disappointed. The gameplay, like other reviewers have stated, is just plain Monopoly and I also found that my game (purchased in Dec 2011) has no incorrect cards. It's super neat and a great gift or personal purchase for the Indiana Jones enthusiast.

We are always looking for ways to have students socially interact with board games...computer ones are great...but classic board games are better. This type of game brings the classic game into the lives of the 21st century student. Great purchase.
