My son received this for his 8th birthday and it hasn't been left alone one day since. The whole family can compete against each other as it keeps track of high scores. His sisters (ages 12, 9 and 5) also love to play along with mom and dad. The game has 3 sound levels and a mute which make it great to play alone. This game is great for all ages!!

We purchased this game for our son for his 10th birthday. What a score! It's kinda like Skee-Ball, except you have to bounce the little medal balls off the trampoline. During the first attempts, our balls were bouncing all over the place, but then we adjusted our technique, and we soon all got the hang of it. Even our 2 1/2 year old can do it. Unfortunately, my husband enjoys it as much as the kids. I found him in my son's room playing it all by himself when he was supposed to be helping me get the kids ready to go trick-or-treating! Good news: If you want to order more balls, you can get a set of 10 more for only $2 (and that includes shipping) by returning the enclosed order form. Recently, my son had a sleep-over, which included 3 other boys. They were all excited to play this game more than anything else, and they played it the WHOLE NIGHT LONG! All 3 boys left my house asking their mothers for a Bulls Eye of their own. Even after all of this, we still have not had to replace the batteries. I wondered how durable the trampoline would be, but it has held up good as new with a lot of rough housing. Since the game is pretty small, its not hard to store, and that makes me happy. This is a definate winner.

My son asked for this on his Christmas list but ended up getting it as a birthday present instead. I try to research everything I buy just so we don't end up getting something that is shoved in a closet somewhere, I must say this toy is FUN, me and my kids compete to see who can get the most points, in a way it reminds me of skee ball only instead of rolling the ball you bounce it, its seems pretty durable except for the mesh type of trampoline? the metal balls bounce on, I haven't had any problems but I can see it possibly ripping, but I would say just the time we have spent on it and the enjoyment is well worth the money...go ahead and give it a try moms and dads.

"You got these little tiny balls and a mini trapoline. All you have to do is bounce the balls in, to get your high score and thats it! Oh yea one more thing you only got 30 sec. GO!!"LOVE the add, and i think the Bullz-Eye-Ball is the greatest inexpensive toy ever! I love rolling the balls in the pocket at arcades but thats expensive this is a home do-it yourselfer.

My buddy, a 40-something surgeon deployed in Iraq, was sent this toy in a care package. He began playing and immediately became addicted. I was a little worried he would not eat and play until exhaustion and death. I was only a little worried because I realized when he passed out, I would get the game to myself. In less than 24 hours, he claims he scored 139 on the 30 second blitz, but I am not sure I believe him because his hand-eye coordination as a urologist is inferior to mine as a general surgeon. Plus he is given to exaggeration. He is very competitive and claims he will soon top 200. The toy is educational for obvious reasons. We believe the Airforce should drop these babies all over Iraq. The insurgents would find them, become addicted, and neglect their terroristic activities. Then we could come home and spend the rest of our lives playing this game. So all the news from Iraq is not negative. There are at least 2 surgeons honing their hand-eye coordination with bulls-eye ball.

This was purchased for our two kids, girl... and boy ... However, the adults have enjoyed it as much as the kids! It's very very fun and very very addictive. It is great for developing hand/eye coordination. Warning: Kids and adults can get very competitive when playing this game. My high score on 30 second game is 144, anyone do better than that?? I highly recommend this game. It's a lot of fun.

too much for a low frustration level,

Bought this for my eight year old's birthday. He has always wanted one. It is very frustrating for him as he has a low frustration level. There is not a "catch" for the balls that do not make it into the holes. They bounce off and roll any which way. We put it in a box to keep the balls in one area as he plays with it. He uses it occassionally, but not as much as I thought he would.

This game is very fun and entertaining. It's easy enough for the smallest child (as long as they're past the stage of putting everything into their mouth)and challenging enough for older kids and adults.
There's a high score reset button on the side which is nice when the kids discover that sticking your finger into the bullseye hole rapidly and repeatedly will result in an impossibly high score to eclipse. Parents will appreciate the volume selector-high/medium/off. We've only had this game a few weeks but it's gotten a lot of play in that time. I am concerned that the cloth mini-trampoline which you launch the balls off of will either tear or lose its "springiness" eventually; rendering the game unplayable. Wishes for enhancements to this game would include a visual scoreboard instead of needing to have the volume turned on in order to hear the game announce it and an integrated storage compartment for the balls (see my critisism in the next paragraph). The only complaint I can really come up with is that once you assemble the game (which is just attaching the ball exit tray), it no longer fits into the box for storage. The way the tray snaps into the main body makes it difficult to remove again, so you've got 10 rolling metal balls + no easy way of storing them with the game = a high probability of losing them.

I got this last year with my brother. We play it alot but it is hard to beat the record you set. My dad is obsessed with it though. I had a friend over and they could not get the ball to bounce into the holes. I guess it is because you have to practice to at least get it in the holes. You can play it alot. But after a while you just get bored and find a toy that does a lot more. If this toy was 20 dollars then my parents would not have got it. So since it is under 20 dollars, GO FOR IT!
Hope this review helped.

My daughter loves this game, although when we got it, she hardly got to play since her uncles and I couldn't leave it alone (and we are all over 30!!). I have since purchased three more of these, not for my nieces and nephews, but for my brothers!! Of course it didn't take long for my brother to learn you can stick your finger in the hole and trigger the score... but that is just part of the fun. The batteries are long lasting.
The only downsides are the announcer guy is a little annoying, but it does mute and its annoying that once opened and constructed it does not fit back into the box. I found this uped the probability of those little balls going missing. We cram it back in the box. Foutunately it has a self shut off so even if the on button gets hit in the cramming, it still shuts off. We own just about every game there is, and this one is truely an ageless toy. I plan to bust it out this Christmas for another bulls eye show down with my brothers. |
