This is probably not a game that ALL people will enjoy. If you visit Disney World or Disneyland often than your family may really enjoy this. If you have never been to either place and don't really plan on visiting than it may not be that fun. It's a very simple game. Each player gets some ride cards and the first to visit all their rides and makes it back to the entrance is the winner. What makes it fun is the Disneyland theme. It has a mixture of Disneyland and Magic Kingdom rides. If you are planning on taking a trip to either of these places it may be fun to play before you go. But just warn your kids that some of the rides may not be at that particular park.

5.0 out of 5 stars getting ready for WDW, April 10, 2010

Our kids love setting up the board and dreaming about our visit to WDW. It was a great way for our 12 & 13 year old girls to prepare for the trip and the layout of the park. We love the game but were confused because it has some of the Disneyland features and not the Disney World.

I bought this game after playing a friend's version with my kids. We were planning a trip to Disney World, and I wanted to get them excited. My friend had pitched it to me as "research" or "homework" for our trip. It's a lot of fun to play and is easy enough for a 3 year old to follow while also being challenging enough for a 33 year old to enjoy! You "play" your day at Magic Kingdom at Disney World and maneuver through the park, just as you would if you were there, complete with roadblocks such as getting hungry, needing a potty break and stopping for autographs. The board is set up exactly as the park, so, you get a feel for where things are when you go. When we went, I had a general idea where to find the different rides because of playing this game. It was very valuable, since Magic Kingdom is pretty huge! Lots of fun to play too! We still play it often, and we've now had it over a year and are no longer planning a trip to WDW. It's a good time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game for little ones first trip to the most magical place, April 25, 2011

I can't believe I found this game ... Great concept to get little ones ready for Disney World. My boys are 3 and 5 and love setting up the game that comes with very detailed 3D game pieces that resemble familiar rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and the Castle. Of course, my 3 year old needs assistance to play the game. We play a different version where everyone's attraction cards are played face up to help my boys navigate around the board better. You can also use the railroad track to move from attraction to attraction. The event cards can really put a twist on the game by moving another player to a destination away from their select attraction cards or to gain another turn or to move up a certain number of spaces. The spaces (stepping stones) to move around the park should be visually larger, especially for Grandmas. A must have for any Disney fan!

My boys and I love this game! When we can't get to Disneyland it's still fun to at least "explore it" with the game :). Super easy, quick, and a lot of reminicing makes this game a definate keeper for my family.

We have had this game for several years now and we just bought one as a gift for our niece. I just played it twice with my child yesterday. We have been to Disney World many times and this game helps bring back all the memories. The whole family enjoys playing this game - even my teenager. I would guess that kids at least five can play mostly independently. My kids have played as young as three with assistance. I have never timed it, but a full game lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, which I find to be a very important part of the game. For our family, the length of the game really makes this game great - not too long and not too short. With our busy life, I find this is the goto game that we can squeeze in some really good quality time.

The game does involve counting spaces, choosing from multiple routes to get to an attraction, and reading event cards among other strategic elements.

We purchased this game after playing it at a family party at my Cousin's. My daughter's and nephew tried to play another game after finishing this one and ended up going back to play it again. Well worth the relatively inexpensive price.
