I bought this for my 4 and 7 year old. They love all the funny illnesses and have played it over and over. It is a little hard for the 4 year old, but WOW has he improved those fine motor skills with practice! I loved the old version as a kid. This is a great re-creation.

Shrek and his funny parts make the game much more amusing than the original. There are funny quotes on all the cards. The difficulty level seems to be about the same as the original. Younger children tend to get frustrated with the buzzing nose, but those 6 and over love it. Even my teen and her friends love it!

This a fun toy, not an educational toy and it has the same amount of durability as the original. It will last, but you have to take care of it. Lots of fun and well worth buying!

Shrek Operation is better than original. Easier to remove pieces. Its fun!

Just couldn't resist the fun take on this classic game. Worth the money.

We finally bought this game for our little boy as an early birthday gift. He begged for this game for a couple of months and I really did'nt think he was old enough for it but he proved us wrong and is better at playing the game than me or my husband! Its a really fun game just like the classic version but its much more fun for my little boy since he is a Shrek fan! The pieces you have to get or operate are so funny, there is a frog in Shreks throat, ear wax, toe jam, onion breath, heart burn, pixie bites and much more! It just makes the game more fun with Shrek being the person you have to operate on!
I would suggest this game if you are thinking about buying it, it is still getting played after weeks of playing it my little boy is still having fun with it!

My 6yr old received this for christmas and him and his 2 1/2 year old brother will play this with my husband and I. Now i know it has small pieces but we never let the two year old play without us their and most of the time they just put pieces up and hit the sides and make it buzz and giggle at each other.

Also it'a hard to get the things out and this makes it fun. I play this came with my dad. I got the game because it has shrek on it. I win this game sometimes. The cards have funny things on them and it makes me laugh.

i bought this for my 7 year old for christmas. It has held up wonderfully and we have had a great time playing it. I especially love the rhymes on the body part cards. The pieces to remove can be easy to lose, but that is how all operation games are. I find a ziplock sandwich bag to hold the pieces does the trick. This is a great buy and well worth the money.

I gave this a 3 star for educational because it doesn't really teach much more than the general shape of the body. It does have some great words for learning reading, though.

This game is Shrekalicious. It rules!! It is even more fun than the original. Operation Shrek is definately worth the money. I've had tons of fun playing. People of all ages will have a blast playing this game. Rock on!!!!!

Fun game just like the 'old' Operation. My niece loved it for Christmas 2006.
